Anyone here excited for the Thor movie, or for Thor's Ultimate backstory being revealed now?

Hate to say this, but I don't even know what that is. Sorry.

It's a movie based on a comic book.

Yup, with Captain America and IronMan he's one of the founders of The Avengers as well as class A hero.

He's based a whole lot on the Norse mythology, in fact, in-universe Thor, Asgard and all that ties with that are actually real. He's pretty badass and his origin story in the Ultimate Marvel line involves the classic betrayal of his tricky brother Odin as well as Nazis and ice demons. *3*

And, just random, but, i found a band i like a whole lot now, Shinedown, can't decide if my favorite song from them is Devour, Yer Majesty or Diamond Eyes (Boom Lay)

I think that's the best way to describe Thor.

Although I do read the Amazing Spider Man strip in the paper (and enjoy it some), I'm not that into Marvel Comics myself. But I can see why someone else might be.

I don't know why, but even as a kid I was never into any of the actiony kind of stuff, whether if be on TV or in a comic.

When I was little, I used to see kids reading them all the time. I never read them myself though, because back then, it looked really silly to me.
