if people decide for themselves they want to 'move on over' to sbc, let them.

Good point, and teenj, don't blame yourself, ShrinkinViolet left out of her own free will.

I guess, but I still feel like I didn't help the situation.

It's okay, don't worry about it.

Yah. There's really nothing you can do in this situation

i just went to view my grades and i was expecting science to be a disaster cause i had like two late assignments and cause of a test. it was a "C" and now it's a B-! this means if i raise my english, math, and history before exams, i'll have all A's and B's!

    Ugh, I loathe Math,but I passed it with a C. I didn't expect to pass with C at all .

math, english, and history are all C+s, and they're all high (the lowest would probably be history at like 78.11 percent or something). but if i raise those to 80 then they're B minus!

I'm homeschooled, so I don't have a lot of subjects. But the ones I have (and whether I like them or not) are:

English = I like it, but it can be annoying sometimes.

Earth Science = Meh, it's okay. Just kind of boring.

Geometry = Hate it. Too much algebra nonsense. I don't like learning stuff I'm less than likely to use in my future carreer.

World History II = I know some people like it, but I'm sort of neutral on it.

Unforutnately for me, the laptop which has all of my school work on it is going on the fritz--it's a Windows 7 and is showing a blue screen with a lot of text on it mentioning "dump files." It happened 3 times yesterday, and I'm worried that I have a virus.

BTW, I'm using my Vista (which thankfully works) as I type this.

Did anyone realize there is a hidden set of emoticons for TV.com? They are all the same as the ones you can click on when doing a normal reply, except in a different style. Here are the ones I've found.

Edit: I just realized that these are the ones for GameSpot, but they still work on TV.com.

I've known that for quite a while now, but that is interesting.

We still have yet to learn the true meaning of Thanksgiving here in Mexico, but we got faith that little Jose will learn the meaning soon. Anyway i had a chicken sandwich at Carl's Jr. today so that's the same thing.

I really have high hopes that this thread will reach 10,000 posts. Does anyone else think we can reach that many?

    Easy.

Anyone here excited for the Thor movie, or for Thor's Ultimate backstory being revealed now?

Hate to say this, but I don't even know what that is. Sorry.
