i watch spongebob sometimes and i wonder if hes gay or not. they never put an episode where spongebob has a crush on someone, and he seems awfully close with patrick, especially in the fry-cook games episode where they leave the arena in their underwear holding hands?

no flaming, i jus want an answer

Well, he does seem to have a liking to Sandy, but no, I don't think so. Plus, he and Patrick are best friends. Most best friends are that close.

Well, I guess they just added that holding hands thing just for a "we're great buddies" thing. No, I don't think SpongeBob is gay He's just way too childish. But still, that's why we love him.

In real life, Spongebob has no gender!!!!! Sponges are asexual, so he cannot in any way be gay If he is supposed to be male, as he is impersonized as an adolescent man, then it seems to me that he has a very tight bond with Patrick and that's a bit awful for us to see them two be always together. Now the relationship between him and Sandy seems to me both friendly and love (but gradual, I meen that they have yet to start loving each other).

No. But will this show ever really delve much into the character's sexuality? Probably not.
SpongeBob does seem to have a liking to Squidward, Patrick, and Sandy, from what I've seen in certain episodes.
But, remember, he did fall in love with a Krabby Patty in "To Love a Patty" and he referred to it as a female.

Glad you had asked, Spongebob isn't gay but comes to relationships that bothers me, well, Spongebob does like everyone in Bikini Bottom, especially his friends, Patrick and Squidward, and may include Sandy, but it might make jealousy with Patrick in my op, and it might not happen.

SpongeBob is too innocent and inexperienced to know the meaning of true love. That's why the best he's gone so far is a Krabby Patty (who was a female, BTW).

For the show to survive for how many more years it's going to be on TV, something big has to happen on the show. I don't know what, but something has to happen before the show loses all it's viewers...

Why are we talking about Spongebob being G*y? Some are saying he is and that ain't nice, besides I don't think he shows it, especially when he hangs around Sandy, who is a GIRL!
