How did Avatar beat Spongebob!!!!?

    It's because Spongebob has gotten stale. It's pretty much the same thing over and over again. It has no plot.
    Avatar won because it has a good, solid plot. It's time Spongebob stepped out of the spotlight for a change.

    O.K., now this is just inviting hoards of celebrating Avatar fans to flood the boards. There are many possible reasons for why Avatar won. Even manical Spongebob fans should pause and consider the fact that some of the more recent episodes have lacked the quality and humour of their predecessors. But there is still hope for you. Avatar is ending this year, but Spongebob will go on. And on. Hopefully you will be able to enjoy some decent new episodes and have better luck next year.

    I'm not a "fan" of Avatar, but it is an interesting show. It's not just cheap jokes and annoying laughs from the characters over and over again with old, reused plots and a million crappy specials.

    Avatar has action, suspense, romance , emotion, and jokes.

    Spongebob has been on for almost a decade, they fired the creater and the brains of the show, and they are putting any lame idea on the air they like, they don't even care if it's good or not, they just want the profits.

    Avatar has character, and good anime. It's time for Spongebob to step out of the spotlight for a while, and let some other shows like Avatar, FOP, and maybe old shows like Hey Arnold, take some of the air time.

    P.S: Sorry if I offended any Spongebob fans, this is JUST my OPINION!

    It's just the end. The story is coming to a close. It signed on for 3 seasons and they made a story to fit that time.

    After that, we have a trilogy of movies.

    Because Avatar is a series that tells a story. (and a very good one at that.) Like all good stories, it has to end at some point. btw, I hope the writer of this thread realizes what they have left themselves wide open to.

    I knew this was going to happen.
    Like others said,there are several reasons.IMO,it might be because SS is losing it's audience.It's just not funny anymore.I admit I didn't see it coming(just read my blog).But anyway,SS has won for so many years,people are sick of it.

    I can't believe it, Avatar really beat SpongeBob:evil!

    Well, I have 3 logic explications:

    1.- The judges drank a lot of beer

    2.- The Avatar creator gived a little "contribution" to the judges

    3.- The Avatar creator did it to the old one, if you understand

    SpongeBob is an awesome cartoon, I feel bad because some people can see it and I doesn't care if SpongeBob didn't win, it's ever going to be the best cartoon for me and if I'm not wrong, Avatar is near to the end, because the show just will have 4 seasons, well I think so, SpongeBob is a classic cartoon, I think that is the best cartoon

    I have to say that I'm a little disappointed, but I'm going to be a SpongeBob fan until the end or more
