isn't it kind of hypocritical to be focusing so much on 'Seddie'? i mean the whole point of iStart a Fan War was that people should be watching iCarly (the web show) for the comedy and not to see who ends up with who. in another fashion this obviously relates to people should be watching iCarly (the tv show) for the comedy, least that's how i saw it. and now we're getting 4 episodes about 'seddie'. isn't this hypocritical, or am i just being nit picky? that said, this episode looks hilarious. the promos have all made me laugh super hard. hopefully the stuff in the promos are't the only good parts of the episode and the episode itself is as funny as them. otherwise i will be disappointed. |
Well Sam DOES love Freddie
Carly can't have him because she waited too long. SUCKS FOR YOU CARLY

I think a big reason why people are focusing on the ships instead of the comedy nowadays is because the comedy...well, the comedy sucks now. I mean, think about the non-shippy episodes nowadays, they're pretty boring, and I KNOW it's not because there was no seddie or creddie in the episode. I'm smart enough to know when an episode doesn't have romantic stuff (i.e. Seddie/Creddie) vs. an episode that's just plain bad.
I mean, if there was a truly funny episode, of COURSE I would watch it and be entertained by it, regardless of whether or not it has Sed/Cred in it.
In the beginning, yeah, I did actually watch it for the comedy, but then the comedy got a little lame and boring, and even the whole Sam-hating-Freddie thing got old (another reason why this new angle to their relationship was welcomed by me).
AND don't forget that the fandom wasn't even that big until iKiss, which was a writers' decision, because the show was doing pretty well at the time and didn't really need any new "sparks". So, if there's anyone to "blame" for the obsessive shippers, it would probably be Dan and the writers . (I should probably add that I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, since the ratings are really great for the show, which is really their main goal, guys. seriously).
In my opinion, if the show didn't have seddie/creddie at all, it would get old fast, unless they were able to churn out really hilarious episodes consistently.
Sorry is this has already been discussed.
Is "iLost My Mind" an hour or 30 minutes?

@shadow: iLMM is 30 minutes. Nickelodeon confirmed it.
I've mentioned this before, but I think iCarly got even funnier. The humor is different but I like it more. I'll just stop there.
