She seems to get dogged for her acting but I think she is such a great actress. Carly in seasons 2 & 3 is my favorite character. She has such great comedic timing. She doesn't overact unless Carly is freaking out. I think she is very talented and has really improved and given Carly a lot of layers.

I'm a big Miranda fan, she's an awesome actress and she's getting so beautiful; by age. She was my favorite character on Drake and Josh and I didn't get into Icarly in the beginning, but I watched it with my cousin once and I just loved it

I'm liking Carly this season, she's really maturing I think

I don't really get why Miranda gets so much hate amoung the iCarly community. I admit, that I think Jennette outshines her as an actor and singer, but I don't hate Miranda. I do get annoyed that her song plays 3413414 times in a half hour period on nickelodeon. But other than that, Miranda is cool with me. I don't hate Carly either- shes funny and cool.

i gots some new news!!!! well you know how we have these long discussions about the icarly cast only being close friends on set except jennette and nathan? WELL nathan was the ONLY one ( other than dan ) to say happy bday to her that was from the cast. jennette was on today and didnt say nothing and now nathan and miranda are friends on twitter....im super happy and idk whether to think i am a stalker or not :/ haha

It could be Jennette actually called like a real friend would do and not just leave a message on Tweeter. Or it could just be a bad case of jalousie if you pay one $180,000 a show and the other less Than $12,000 there is going to be a lot of hostility.

true... u do have 2 VERY fine points. i guess my mom heard about mirandas bday on the radio and she txted me saying amanda cosgrove's bday is today . and i asked her ....who is amanda cosgrove? and she said icarly and i told her ....u mean miranda xD way to go mom

Miranda is filming an episode of The Good Wife beginning tomorrow. I'm so excited. That is my favorite show on tv at the moment. The writing is excellent and the acting superb. I can't wait to see her in a serious role in such a quality show. Excellent choice on her part imo.

Yay this thread is active again! I was just ranting about how pretty she is in the Creddie thread. Yupp, Miranda plays a drunk driver. :0 A popstar with a DUI or something like that. I have never seen Miranda do a dramatic role before, but I hope she does well. The first time I saw Jennette and Nathan in a drama I was surprised, so I hope to be blown away by her performance. I love seeing Nick stars doing stuff outside of Nick. A lot of times their roles don't reach their full acting potential.

^That was an interesting article, it was really well written and an interesting expose on not only her life but the life of tween-idols. I do hope she does move on from kids stuff in the next year, she deserves an evolution in her career either that or go to college...that actually might be best for her.

Thank you so much for posting that article. I agree, as much as I adore her as Carly judging by her other characters I'd like to see her branch out a little bit or going to college. I love how down to earth she is. Like they said, not a lot of child stars are that down to earth or...umm well behaved.
