Hello iCarly fans!
I just got editorship of this show yesterday. I'm really excited about this.
I will be on this forum quite often...but that also means that the rules will be enforced a little more than they used to be. The biggest one being no duplicate threads. I will slowly but surely be locking all duplicates, and altering current threads so that they can be one broad, discussion about an aspect of the show. i.e. instead of having a "Favorite Carly Moments" thread AND a thread about Carly, we'll have just one thread for both.
I'm also the editor of Zoey 101, as some of you may or may not know, and I slowly implemented these same rules over there, and it has worked out nicely. I won't change everything drastically or right away, but on a gradual basis. I think that will work better.
I also will be posting the same submission guidelines from my other guide over here shortly.
I'm pinning this thread, but keeping it open so I can hear your thoughts/ideas.

dont really have any thoughts or ideas........i do have a comment, though:
congrats, andrea! so i'm guessing that this thread will now have the same rules and such as the Z101 thread?

Well this thread is just to make people aware of the new editorship, since the rules here used to be a little bit lax.
As for rules, it'll be basically the obvious:
1. No swearing/cursing WHATSOEVER will be permitted.
2. Duplicate threads will be locked.
3. No more than 3 game threads will be going at once.
Those are the biggies. I'll add to it when and if needed.

Yepperz. Same rules as over at Zoey 101. And if you're someone who doesn't visit that forum...it's generally going to be the same three as above, with one new one I just added:
1. No swearing/cursing WHATSOEVER will be permitted.
2. Duplicate threads will be locked.
3. No more than 2-3 game threads will be going at once.
4. Keep the threads on topic.

CONGRATS ANDREA!! I'm so happy for you. I had kind of liked that there were no rules here, as opposed to on the Zoey board, because there's no "Oh Andreaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" whenever anything minor happens (so I'll probably be on here less), but if there has to be a strict editor I'm glad it's you.

Yay! Congrats, Andrea!

I love how things are handled at the Zoey 101 forums--it reminds me of more professional forums, the way things are structured and actually in control. Have fun keeping the iCarly-ers in line!

Yeah I'm aware that we have several game threads currently...I'm not going to close any of them, but all new ones will be, until the current ones finish.
