Asking here is fine.
To get pictures in your signature, click the "prefs" link in the upper right hand corner of the screen. This will make a menu open up in a new window.
Click the tab on the top that says "boards."
Scroll down to where it says "My Signature."
If you want to put an image in, click on the button that looks like a little green tree.
Now, go to the image you want and right-click on it and then click "properties."
This will make a menu open up...highlight and copy the URL (web address) for the image, and copy it.
Then go back to the signature menu, where you just clicked on the tree icon. Paste the URL into the box that says "Image URL."
Click update. Then click OK on the next little screen that comes up.
Your image should show up in the signature box now. Scroll down and click the orange "Save Changes" button.
And you're done!
If the image you want to use is saved on your computer, and not online, then you should upload it first. You can do this using a site like Photobucket.com.
If you have trouble with any of the above, let me know!

Not quite sure what you mean. Did you get a TOS warning? If so, it was probably too big, which means the staff removed it. If your signature is larger than what is allowed per the TOS:
Signatures may not exceed 550 pixels wide. Signatures may not exceed a combined height of 200 pixels and/or 14 lines (including blank lines)
If yours violated any of the above, then it can be removed without notice to the user.

Alright. Let me get my pixel ruler out to measure it....
If the image is online, you can just right click on it, click properties, and then a menu will come up, telling you the exact dimensions of your image.
