    Not quite sure she can do that in her normal state. Earthbending ramp yes but water not so sure.

    So far the only thing kinda bumming me out is that, while some of the forms Toph invented have traveled down, her personal bending style doesn't seem to have been integrated at all. Korra uses a style more common to other Earthbenders. Even her daughter hasn't adopted the style, and where do you think she learned to Earthbend? Metalbending and seismic sense, sure. I just miss the way Toph used to bend, and I'd like to see more of it I suppose.

    I think it was always hinted at that Toph bended like that because she was blind. Though Hung Ga (I think that's the style she used) is pretty neat looking animated.


    Also, did you notice all the lightening being bent in that one ep?

    Has anyone figured out who the people are in the opening sequence?
    One looks like Roku but I'm guessing its old Zuko...this should help me pass the time, guessing who is who..

    Earth - Lin


    Fire - Mako


    Air - Tenzin


    Water - Korra


    Shame they wouldn't be able to have the same formular as the last e.g. Teacher = Pakku, Friend = Toph, Enemy = Azula, Avatar = Aang. Since the only badguy who can end isa waterbender who can't replace the Waterbender born Korra.

    I wonder why air is so important, i mean Aang never used air bending to harm his enimes, even though my brother told me in the fact book of Avatar, Air bending is the mostlethalbending, I mean sure u can crush a person with a rock, but Aang could remove the air from one spot for a few seconds just enough time to make avictimget air sick. maybe i'm just rambling but Ibelieveair bending is the most deadly, its just underestimated.

    Airbending is powerful, Tenzin showed us that the force generated from it can push back a mech-bot. Its also very good defensively and excellent for quick escapes. Another thing that makes air so useful is its everywhere. Firebenders need the sun, watebenders the moon. Earthbenders need some form of earth but air..as long as there is some in an airbenders lungs...unless there is an airtight-room or box.

    Its versatile. @Nerdnot: Why?
