    This is pretty basic knowledge though

    if it matters, its takes about 200,000 dollars to make an episode of an anime cuz anime is cheap (its tru)

    Are they really cancellin Jimmy, Timmy and Danny just because Avatar is so expensive to make?

    Avatar takes $1 million dollars to animate and junk, takes 9-10 months to make 1 episode, and is animated in Korea. And like some others here said, DP, FOP, and Jimmy are being cancelled to save more money for Avatar.

    yup those shows are being cancelled in direct proportion to help the growing popularity like hell(a Nick cartoon in #1 tv?). this a risky big decision nick has to go thru

    i dunno what nick's plan is for Mr. Meaty, as many girls(and some guys) say that the show is freakin nasty!

    Mr. Meaty looks like a gross humour show, like fart jokes and stuff. And when I checked TV.com this morning, it was #5, Lost still in the lead.

    Avatar reemburses Nick enough, but I wish the the great shows didn't need to be cancelled to pay for it. Avatar is a great show, but I don't want it to be the only good show left on Nick.

    If Avatar was doing fine with those other shows, why does Nick have to cancel them?

    I have no clue... Nick is going downhill (except for avatar, of course =] ). I mean, without some of the shows their cancelling, Nick is gunna have TONS of crappy shows. And I would know. I'm stuck home all of the time because I broke my foot and there's nothing better to do except watch TV.

    If Nick is so concerned with saving money for Avatar then they should cancel Mr. Meaty and Catscratch. Jimmy Neutron is still good, and no offense, but FOP isn't as good as it used to be. It's had its moment, and unless it can redeem itself, should gracefully step aside. Same for Spongebob. It was good, but unless it can get better, should step aside. Danny Phantom is still good, I hope they don't cancel it. Don't get me wrong, I love FOP and Spongebob, it's just that now... well.
