Why should Iroh die. Is it because he's old compared to the other characters. What if they decided to kill off zuko instead how would you feel about that. Then Iroh would start kickin' ass everwhere. |

Well Iroh is to cool to die this soon he's only in his early 60 's but being outside to much and begging off streets can get Iroh a disease. |
I agree with the many people who say that Iroh should die only if the makers want him to in the story, not because Mako died (god rest his soul).
Interesting thing here though, Bumi apparently has had a new voice actor, and i didnt notice.(This is according to avatar spirit but it might be wrong).?? Maybe they can manage to find someone who can fill the shoes of Mako.

Well the Avatar crew is smart thet know perfect back-ups like there was one actor who voiced Aang and then Zach filled in his shoes now they used a new voice for Bumi did we notice nope I think they'll get a voice for Iroh. |
I hope so.

Well Mako will be missed he made Iroh a beautiful character and we all love him. |

I don't mean we love Mako like that but Iroh. |

I think the simplest and most appropriate way to remove Iroh from the series is that they have the episodes that he finished be completed, and on the first episode that Mako did not work on/finish, they have simple scene of Zuko and Iroh in the morning wherever they are: (Zuko wakes up and does his morning routine, perhaps retrieving water, starting a cooking fire, or some exercises, letting his uncle sleep) He returns a little while later "Uncle, it's time to get up," (Iroh doesn't respond) "Uncle?" (Iroh still does not respond) (Sillhouette of Zuko kneeling before Iroh in front of the rising sun, placing a hand on Iroh, then Zuko's head bows. There is no sound for this entire sillhouette scene). At the end of the episode, after whatever Aang and company did for the body of the episode, we see Zuko riding off alone, much like he did at the end of "Zuko Alone", and the "camera pans back to a simple grave under a tree (I'd prefer a cherry blossom in bloom), a large stone as a headstone with a teacup, a white lotus tile and/or the actual flower, and the knife he gave Zuko in "Zuko Alone" placed on the grave. The headstone, chiseled in calligraphic words, would have some sort of inscription, I don't want to say what. |
I'd actually like it that way if Iroh were to die (and I'm not saying I want him to). Although IMO, I doubt they would kill him off. But if Nick were to do it like that, they may have an announcer say something like "This episode deals with a difficult subject matter. Parents are encouraged to blah, blah, blah..." right before the episode airs.??
