Zuko is already very developed well that would be intresting to see it grow even more.

Killing off a character just cause their voice actor is gone is stupid, escpecially as good a character as Iroh. Nick can always get a new voice actor, I know that sounds harsh, but they can.

I was pitching Iroh's death for plot development since before Mako died. This is just a nail in the coffin, so to speak.

They will kill him off and Zuko will go nuts and teach Aang firebending so he can kill his father and become the new fire lord and everyone will be happy

and the Momo will rule everyone from behind the scenes

I don't think they'll kill him off just to make the show deeper. Besides, there's been a lot of deaths in the show already so it's not like there isn't any depth.

How many deaths were of major characters? One(Zhao). And nobody liked him.

Don't throw any Yue crap either, cause as hard enough to believe, she was minor character at best.

I was in Breakflame's mindset when it came to this even before Mako passed away. I haven't watched a lot of Avatar, but with most of the scenes involving Zuko and Iroh, you can see that deep connection and dependence on one another. It just clicked in my head that they'd take that away and Iroh would probably pass away in the future episodes, leaving Zuko "alone" in a sense to grow even further than he has.

And why'd you remind me of Hughes, you jerk! Great, now I want to watch all of FMA again... Booyaka.

Well killing off Iroh will not only make the show deeper but it will shatter Zuko's heart in pieces?? Zuko will not only grow more develpment but he'll lose everything that kept him together except for his hope of capturing Aang but there is no hope left.

Maybe Iroh death will somehow also finally destroy Zuko's hope of capturing the avatar, perhaps even install in Zuko the desire to overthrow his father.

I don't think they gonna kill him, cuz the first two episodes of the avatar Aang's voice changed two times by two different guys, but we didn't realize change, did we? So, I think they are gonna find someone with Iroh old voice.

Ain't the point. Least not for me. I believe they were gonna kill him anyway.

    yeah, me too

They still need to talk about the time he went to the spirit world and a few other things, but that can be cleared up before the end of season 2, I think he will die in the last episode and leave a cliff hanger

I think the simplest and most appropriate way to remove Iroh from the series is that they have the episodes that he finished be completed, and on the first episode that Mako did not work on/finish, they have simple scene of Zuko and Iroh in the morning wherever they are:

(Zuko wakes up and does his morning routine, perhaps retrieving water, starting a cooking fire, or some exercises, letting his uncle sleep)

He returns a little while later

"Uncle, it's time to get up," (Iroh doesn't respond)
"Uncle?" (Iroh still does not respond)
(Sillhouette of Zuko kneeling before Iroh in front of the rising sun, placing a hand on Iroh, then Zuko's head bows. There is no sound for this entire sillhouette scene).

At the end of the episode, after whatever Aang and company did for the body of the episode, we see Zuko riding off alone, much like he did at the end of "Zuko Alone", and the "camera pans back to a simple grave under a tree (I'd prefer a cherry blossom in bloom), a large stone as a headstone with a teacup, a white lotus tile and/or the actual flower, and the knife he gave Zuko in "Zuko Alone" placed on the grave. The headstone, chiseled in calligraphic words, would have some sort of inscription, I don't want to say what.

    Gantros,

I thought of that idea before (it in a post somewhere on another one of those Mako has died threads) many were not please with it.
