Exactly. At least what we have is worth waiting for. And don't you dare blame the hiatus on the show itself. |
Meh, a mere difference in opinion.
I personally don't mind fillers from any anime.

*shrug* That's the kind of thing that gets to some people.

Coming to another show's forum to gloat about your own is kind of shallow, isn't it?

Here is the reason why Avatar is better than Naruto. Aang does not have a shrill screamy voice that makes me want to puncture my eardrums. The end. |

Probably because it's been over a hundred episodes since that's been said. |
I tried to watch Naruto once or twice but I couldn't get into it. But I've fallen in love with Avatar. I consider it one of the best shows I've ever seen. And I'm sure that you Naruto fans feel the same way about your show. And while I've just skimmed most of the posts on this thread, it seems like the Naruto fans tend to take fault in there only being three seasons of Avatar. Well, I'd have to say that I'm very glad that they didn't try and milk this series into fifteen seasons. Because of the limited time frame the show has a sense of urgency throughout and this helps to draw you into it. And while I haven't seen much of Naruto, I grew up watching Dragonball Z and I simply cannot handle any more fight scenes that last for several episodes.
As for nitpicking the hiatus, come on. Grow up. Naruto had a manga to draw from, and so they could pump out episodes. Avatar kept it amazing production values and has suffered from delays, as well as being plagued by being broadcast on a horrible network. If you can't find a better fault than "it has too long of gaps between episodes," then I'd say that this debate is about over.
In all honesty, though, the idea of this thread is stupid. Because going in to this debate I knew that I couldn't be convinced that Avatar is inferior to Naruto, just as Naruto fans will not be convinced that Avatar is superior. I did get a few chuckles out of it though, so I guess it wasn't completely pointless. Just be glad that we have shows that are good enough to fight over, right?

I asked to to prove Naruto's budget is bigger, not repeat what you just said.

Not shrill. Like other characters voiced by women, like. . . oh maybe Katara and Toph.
