I have theories of this 2: The TURTLE DUCKS SCENE! It says it all, gonna bite you back. The Azula line in Avatar State, "Like I haven't done that before." This means that Ursa killed Azulon based on what was said by Azula to her. But, I think Azula lied to try to get Ursa, a powerful bender mad, and Zuko mad, maybe increasing daddy's chances over "his royal tea and cookieness." I agree about your theory, though doubt that the Ag Ni Kai would be that official, maybe a small one, otherwise Zuko woulda heard. Also, Azula said, "No one knows what happened to Ursa." She could be lying again, but you'd think that news would have spread about something like that. Your theory has some probability towards it, a lot is probable, though I disagree about the Ag Ni Kai, I guess, a personal battle between those two with those terms, Ursa runs off, leaves Azulon to die and live up to the deal. Azula lied about everything, except for that no one knows where Ursa is. Wow, I typed a ton. Eman you are theMan for this theory. I love it, but of cource, I have to argue it as well. You are a great theorist.
now i know y ursa said that about the ducks! when zuko threw a rock at the baby duck, it's mother bit him. so since azulon messed with zuko, ursa "bit" him back! OMG, great thread.

    (TOTAL NON FAILURE)

Hey, I'm in no way mad at the necroing. This thread frequently gets brought back from the depths anyway. So why not keep it alive. Not to mention it's my thread.

At the time I created this thread(nearly two years ago), I didn't know about her relation to Roku, so she very well could've been a bender, however we still don't know for sure. She could've very well not been one too.

I could have sworn i read somewhere that agni kai's ended when either a person admitted defeat, was killed, or defeated to both standards of the combantants and watching spectors. But you aren't banished for killing a person, just they are usually to settle duels and fueds, not battle's to the death.

What I think is true is that, since iroh wasn't really fit to be firelord with luten just dying ozai proposed that maybe he would be better suited to be the next firelord, but when azulon said no because he was to honorable to skip the rule that the first born son of the current firelord would be the next firelord, ozai was angry so he killed his father making it look like he died of a heart attack, and ursa found out that ozai killed azulon and was going to kill zuko killed to she confronted ozai and said that she wouldn't let him, so they made a deal that ozai wouldn't kill zuko in ursa would be banished from the fire nation.
