alright, im giving up about the father thing. just forget it. the comet thing was both fear and a tiny bit common sense. u're right about that, but in EIP, we saw how the person playing aang died at the end, and i think some of that really kinda gave aang a wake up call. we saw the fear in his eyes and when he was talking to katara, he mentioned the avatar state. maybe he was fearful of that?

yeah, he was fearful, but so was a lot of people, and yet he was willing to wait.

Why is this war still ongoing? Why can't shippers live in peace now, especially in a time when fans need to stick together the most.
If you're going to ship have fun; don't spend your time debating and arguing about fictional relationships, pointing out flaws in people's opinions, because that's essentially what you're doing: trying to change someone's mind.
Sky diving, flying a jet, winning the superbowl. They're nothing compared to trying to change someone's opinion.

You say "it's all in good fun" now, but mark my words a few posts from now, a hotheaded, over-emotional shipper is going to come on and start flaming ships. Then those shippers are going to get offeneded and flame back. It's not the first time it's happened. In fact, I've lost count.
