Wasn't he also the one who said Katara will choose between Aang and Zuko? And the one who said he was a kataang shipper? Man, this guy sure does love messing with the shippers' minds. xD |

okay, basic kataang info that i got. kataang was there in the very first episode, and throughout the show, it was apparent that they were meant to be. by the end, their kiss symbolized that they would be together forever. |
Wow. I leave this place for a few hours and find that my war mongering has managed to reignite the shipping wars. Cool.
I know it's kind of late, but to whoever said that they think that Zuko and Katara have more in common than are opposites, I would like to point out that Mai and Zuko are far more compatible than Zuko and Katara.

okay, cool. now i can say this, before the show ended, i really thought zutara was gonna happen. i basically felt the same as all of u kataangers. zutara moments were there throughout the show, and we really thought (i still kinda do) it was meant to be. the moments symbolized that they were meant to be together forever.

They both lost their mothers, and that's about it. A couple of the more crazy Zutarians now like to refer to the Southern Raiders, but that episode aside, Zuko and Katara's characters are polar opposites.

well, then if that's true, then the kataang moments were there because katara was being nice to aang.

okay, here goes. u mentioned the mother thing, right, okay. both haven't met their fathers for many years, and they both really missed him. even though zuko didn't turn good until the end, both of them have a drive to help save the world, and they gave up almost everything for it. both of them r stubborn, and they let their emotions go a little crazy at time. both of them struggled with their bending. katara had trouble because she was forbidden from learning, but fierce determination made her a master. zuko had really no particular talent in the beginning with firebending. but his persistence made him good enough to teach aang firebending, and defeat azula. both of them have sort of a good and bad side. the good side is filled with compassion and kindness. the bad side is of jealousy and rage. if the two of them have gotten together, they would start at a common ground where they understand each other, and as things develop, it would grow into a more deep and (bear with me) structured relationship.
