Well, to put that behind us, I vote that we get right back to the arguing!

In answer to the zutara argument that Aang and Katara should have talked about their kiss by now after 5 episodes, I would like to point out that the Western Air Temple was the only episode when they could really have had such a talk, as the vast majority of TFBM and BR takes place away from the temple and barely features Katara at all. Why they didn't talk about it in WAT is fairly obvious - they prefferred to concentrate on what they were going to do now, as well as the fact that they were somewhat distracted by Zuko's arrival.

I'm kinda bored, so I decided to just talk some more about Kataang.Alot of my posts weren't quoted in shipping threads,but this will be long.

Okay, now let's go back to episode one. Now that is the episode that started Kataang. Aand fell in love with her the minute he woke up in her arms. And the part with him smiling at her was probably the beginning of his crush on her. Now this really can't be proof unless you want it to. But this is the beginning of it basically because one of Kataang's biggest defense is that Aang has already made it clear that he likes her. Now we are not sure if Zuko likes Katara or not because he never made it clear. And it doesn't seem like it.(I'd expand,but I don't want to put any spoilers)
Now from episode 3 we see Katara got Aang out the Avatar State. This seems to be the case for the episodes he went in the Avatar State. For she has been the only one to get him out. And pretty much the only one who keeps him from going into it. But I'll get into that later.
Now in the 4th episode, which I rarely see as defense but should be, he wants her attention. Zutarians who I know are going to go against my post will say that Katara didn't give it to him. Well she can't always look at Aang 24/7 can she? And when the girls at Kyoshi Island were giving Aang attention she actually seemed jealous. So why else would she feel jealousy over these girls paying attention to Aang? And normally she protects him from danger, which is giving him attention and showing that she cares about him.
And now for The Fourtuneteller. Yes, I have heard Aunt Wu couldn't be true all the time, like that Valcanoe thing. Well like that man Sokka was annoyed with said 'Aunt Wu was right. The valcanoe didn't destroy the village'. Aunt Wu didn't give Aang the prediction just to give him what he wanted to hear. Remember what she said at the end. And remember she said that Katara would marry a powerful bender. Sokka even called Aang a powerful bender. And is Zuko powerful? He is, but Aang is the most powerful bender. He is,after all,the avatar.He can/will master all 4 elements and he can do what regular people can such as go into a powerful state(the Avatar State) and enter the Sprit World to talk to the past avatars. That makes him powerful.
Now back to the Avatar State thing, Aang would do anything for Katara. And Katara can not stand seeing Aang hurt. In the episode, The Avatar State, she pretty much said that. And that's the reason he doesn't like going in it. If he does, he stops because of Katara. The only times he ever did it after this was The Desert and Crossroads of Destiny(which I will explain later) And in the AS episode, he had done it because the guy was hurting Katara.
The Cave of the Two Lovers was probably the episode with the most proof. As it said "Let love lead the way." Aang and Katara were seperated from the others so they were alone. And they made it through the cave by doing what else? Letting love lead the way. So they love each other of course. And thar possible kiss, Katara suggested it. Now I know because the other option was death. But she could have choose dying instead. Or, not suggest anything at all. Or, she could have said that once the light went out they could get out somehow. And there would be no kiss suggestion. But she chose the kiss right?
In The Guru, he chose not to give up Katara for his 7th chakara because he of course would never give her up. But suppose Aang did give her up. Would he really forget he loved her? I like to think not. If you loved someone, would you really just forget about them because of something like that? I don't think the 7th chakara blocks love. And in the next episode Aang went into the Avatar State even though he never would for Katara's sake. But he did it to save her from Azula. Alot worse could have happend if he didn't go in it. All of them could have died.
In the Headband Katara and Aang danced with each other. Now this was just for fun, but still good enough for proof. And you saw how Katara felt seeing him with that other girl?
In the Avatar and the Firelord, we saw Roku had a love just like Aang. And he mastered all the elements and did his job before marrying her. Now we see Aang tends to put Katara first, but he's doing his job. He learned water,earth and now he's learning fire.He might "restore balance to the world" in the finale. Then he did what he was supposed to. They are too young to get married, but maybe he will go for Katara after that. And he'll be doing what Roku did, put his priorties together.
In DOBS there was finally a kiss. Now while Kataangers are proud, Zutarians don't care. They think Katara didn't enjoy it. Who knows if she did? And she was sad because right after Aang said he might die, he kissed her. If someone was going to die and they admitted their love for you, wouldn't you be upset? And Aang gave her no time to respond. And she never did because bringing it up will make him forget his priorities. Saving the world. And in WAT, Zutara pretty much disappeared. Katara went ahead and made a death threat.

well wut i got from 1MMfan was that aang likes katara 100%, of course. im stating the obvious. but even though we can say katara was jelous here and did this for aang there, we can't 100% say that katara likes aang back. the only way for aang to know katara's feelings is if she told him. aang kinda told katara once about his feelings and aang kissed her too. so now katara knows that aang likes her, so why doesn't she say anything back? everyone, including zutarians r waiting for katara to say her feelings. (of course, zutaraians want her to turn aang down) i just dont get y katara's waiting.

(on the contrary, no one knows how zuko and katara feel about each other. we get the idea that katara hates him, but like the way she treated jet, she forgave him in the end. i wanna say more, but there r spoilers, so ill stop)

but there were still several times when katara could have talked to aang. also, i never said forgiveness was love. i just said katara might not hate zuko since, she'll forgive him like jet.

anyways, i watched all the episodes before and i know it front and back. ill only talk about 2 eps right now.

katara stared at aang at the end of the fortuneteller, but during the show, she paid little attention to him and only after sokka said that aang was a powerful bender did katara stare and aang. even that doesn't prove anything. how many powerful benders do u see in avatar, like a billion! lets just say katara will marry a powerful bender, aang is a candidate, but so is zuko and haru and master pakku and king bumi, and so many others. i jking in some, but there r a lot of candidates for katara. if aang's so powerful, plus he's the avatar, wouldn't the fortuneteller say to katara, "u will marry the greatest bender"? instead of just a powerful bender?

the desert is just another example of y kataang might not work. here we see aang's willingness to give up everything for appa. he's distressed and if i were katara, i would lose it on him because he was a big pain in the desert. we see how little aang understands katara. he even yells at katara saying, "wut r u doing?!" seriously, i would have yelled at aang for that. "wut right do u have to yell at me when i am trying to get us out of this fricken desert?!" (jk) but katara didnt yell because she knows aang is in distress and tries her best to treat him kindly. wut does aang do? he does nothing to acknowledge katara. (man i suck at explaining! how do i say it right?) so here we get a glimps of wut could really happen if kataang happened. katara is sympathetic to aang. aang can't understand katara and cant help katara with her needs. it's easy to realize how much katara gave for aang. she left home, she gave up everything for aang and yet she gets nothing in return, like a mother to a child. this ties in with the awakening. katara's needs couldn't be tended with, and aang is again, not worrying about katara's feelings.
