    i made em' myself. ^_^ and katara shows the same facial elements. eyebrows slanted upward, wide eyes, open mouth with downturned corners. obviously the smile is a hyperbole, but the elements of expression are the same. katara wasn't horrified, she was unpleasantly surprised.

    Cmon, even in the waterbending scroll, she wasnt like that with Zuko.

    For the record, I don't and never have believed there was any Zutaraian moments in "The Waterbending Scroll." All that was was a girl tied to a tree and a guy who can't figure out that a necklace is not equal in value to KFAJ (KungFu Action Jesus).

    In my mind, Zutara first appeared in "The Crossroad of Destiny." What went on in that cave was serious shipping. Bigger than anything Kataang could pull.

    First person to mention "Cave of Two Lovers" will be shot.

    That episode was Aang lusting after Katara, as usual. And because they ALMOST kissed doesn't mean Kataang will happen. They bonded in no way what so ever.

    Zuko and Katara went from being horrible enemies to best friend in two seconds in CoD. How is that not Zutara?

    No bonding in CoTL... wow. If there was no bonding, why was Katara so shy to bring up the idea to kiss, while blushing the whole time mind you? Also, why would she have been insulted when Aang denounced the idea in his stupidity? If she didn't have feelings for him, she wouldn't have cared. Then you overlook many other episodes with GOOD Katara and Aang bonding. Such as The Desert, The Serpent's Pass, The Awakening, and The Headband.

    I don't mind you trying to point out Zutara evidence, but when you shut down something thats CLEARLY there, it makes you look bad and is plain ridiculous.

    Friendship =/= dating first off.

    Second, why do Aang's feelings not matter in this equation? Having one person being in love with the other is half the ship right there. And Zuko and Katara have shown nothing of that kind for eachother.

    Third, Zuko betraying her directly after that scene kinda negates it. It did still happen and they made some headway for that minute, but the whole episode was one step forward and two steps back for Zutara. (Which is clear from Katara's reactions to Zuko in CoD compared to WAT)

    you can try and explain it away with all the hypotheticals and all the speculation you want, but none of that changes the fact that aang kissed katara and katara pulled away from him. whatever the reason, she interrupted the kiss. and no ammount of heresay and conjecture can possibly make that out to mean she wanted him to kiss her.

    i still don't see how anyone can think aang and katara actually kissed in COTL. they were about to kiss, the torch went out, the crystals lit up, and their immediate assumption was that the crystals must light up when the lights go out. if they'd kissed, don't you think they would have at least come up with the possibility that the kiss was somehow related to the sudden glowing? seems like it would be a pretty obvious connection to make.

    Zuko and Katara went from being horrible enemies to best friend in two seconds in CoD. How is that not Zutara?
    Why would people mentioning the cave of two lovers be shot. whether they kissed was ambiguous, but then why ws katara blushing at the end? Oh, I remember, she was thinking about Zuko. Wow. (sorry, the kataanger in me had to say that) Im still neutral though.

    Sorry guys, i'm all for kataang, but if we lose, i will be a good sport and not trash you like a bunch of crazy rabid shippers might.

    I am a Kataanger. And I won't deny that Zutara has a chance of winning. But I like arguing, it makes me competitive
