    Katara wasn't crying. That hug was friendship. It looks like a hug that says, "I'm sorry I was a jerk. I shouldn't have been. I forgive you Zuko" Katara originally had a reason not to trust Zuko, but she she carried it to far. You Zutaraians think Heaven Above has came down to earth when Zuko and Katara hug, but when Katara and Aang hug, It's stupid, and THEY'VE HUGGED EXACTLY LIKE THAT THREE TIMES. And if you kiss your mother on the lips, and she kisses back...I'm a bit afraid.

    there's no denying that that hug destroyed the most prevalent argument against zutara. that katara hates zuko and will never trust or forgive him. you don't hug someone you don't trust that way. that's the kind of embrace you give to someone that who really means something to you.

    it's not proof, it doesn't mean zutara is canon, it's just a damn good sign for us.

    edit: and as for the kiss. she wasn't repulsed, but she certainly wasn't pleased.

    Exactly! That's what it is- A sign. Nothing more. Just like 114 for Kataangers. It was a sign that maybe Katara liked Aang back. No you don't embrace someone you don't trust but like we have seen in the trailer... They started showing them together a lot. She probably trusts him now, and that hug is just her way of saying, "Sorry, I trust you now. I had no reason not to."

    Alright. Ready for my personal theory on the course of events?

    Sometime before the invasion, probably around EIP because we know that the gAang is back in their FN disguises by then, Aang kisses Katara. Katara is worried that Aang will have her on his mind as he faces Ozai, so she is reluctant, but still confesses her love to Aang.

    Then the series finale happens. Aang dies.

    When Katara learns of this, she runs into Zuko's arms for comfort, beginning a romantic relationship.

    Kataang happens. Zutara happens. Everyone's happy!

    See? Virtually any scenario can be construed from those clips. We just won't know until the full episodes are shown.

    About Katara's reaction in the clip- surprise and shock seem to be her main emotions. Not revulsion, not anger- surprise. But why? Aang has already kissed Katara in DoBS. She should not be surprised. If indeed her reaction is negative for Kataang, her reaction should be some kind of anger towards Aang. But it's not. So what could be surprising her?

    Currently, what seems most likely to me is fairwater67's sister's theory that Aang had just told Katara about the chakras, and Katara is shocked that she is the block that prevented Aang from mastering the Avatar State.

    not that, i can usually create a possible situation, that might happen, like i thought katara was sad that aang kissed her then left, not knowing whether he would be coming back or not, you can see why that would be her expression in DoBS, but know, i cant imagine what would happen to make her pull away from aang, and then make that particular face. its likely because aang told her about the AS, but it doesn't sit right with me for some reason. if its because of AS i gotta hear how he tells her about it.

    Thank you for saying that.

    As for Kataang itself, it does look like it will have some things in the way, but the main problem here is people, both sides, are jumping to conclusions. Sometimes, I flip flop between Zutara has a/no chance because I like Kataang and I think they're meant to be. But it's too early to claim victory when the episodes haven't even been released yet.

    I think it is possible that Zutara will happen. However, I know that the whole ship was created by the fandom, and was not in Bryke's original plan. Therefore, if they make Zutara happen, they will be altering the entire pre-planned storyline. I'm sure that, in response to the fandom, they might decide to slip in some Zutara moments (i.e. the hug). However I'm not sure they would change the whole original ending.

    What, so to be surprised in a neutral way you have to be smiling? That doesn't even make sense! Unless someone's completely thrilled, I seriously doubt they'll smile. If you're just plain surprised (not necessarily positive or negative), a normal person's first reaction is made up of eyes widening and jaw possibly dropping. That doesn't say anything about whether it's a bad or good surprise, it just means they're surprised! And if Katara had been repulsed or horrified, her eyebrows would have gone down, not up.

    Her expression is just surprise for now. That's all we can get out of it. To me, she didn't seem that displeased with the kiss, just a little shocked and worried about something. And remember, she's not necessarily reacting that way because of the kiss itself. Unless we know exactly what happened or what was said right before Aang leaned in for the kiss, we can't blame her expression on it. I still like the idea that Aang told her about the AS and then kissed her -- it would make a lot of sense. But we can't know for sure until the finale airs, so we shouldn't jump to conclusions!

    No matter how many times that is said, they just ignore it. They fall into the false foreshadowings that Bryke love to show. But there are those that ship it just for preferance, which is pefectly fine; I just hate it when they bring in twisted reasonings to try and prove their ship. Everyone can think what they want, but I'm very confident in my choice. BK reminds me so much of one my friends that loves to pull pranks, so everytime I see them throw Zutara innuendo in a trailer, I just laugh and say "Man, that's Andrew right there!"

    hey now, don't put words in my mouth. her eyes show that she was surprised, her eyebrows show that she was unhappy much more than her mouth does. if it were a neutral surprised expression her eyebrows would have simply arched upward.
