    Also aang and katara have kissed twice and hugged loads and Zuko and Katara haven't kissed yet and have hugged like twice

    t felt good to say that, didnt it? Has anyone considered that Katara may end up with Aang, but then he dies? That way, technically, Mike and Bryan didn't lie. Just a thought.

    No. The situations are completely different.

    Before the preview, Kataang had solid evidence. The scales were heavily tipped in its favor. Kataangers, as well as I, were correct to say that, according to the circumstances, Kataang was probably going to happen. Now, the scales are more even. I still think that it leans to Kataang, but only a bit, and either Kataang or Zutara could happen at this point. My point being: Zutarians do not have the evidence to act like the Kataangers acted before the preview, but neither do the Kataangers anymore.

    Yes, the DoBS kiss lasted 3 seconds, and was deliberately ambiguous. But it was entirely in context. Also, it is not the only thing we are arguing from. We still have loads of other Kataang moments as well. A couple 3 second out-of-context moments are not enough to completely topple all the work that has previously been put into Kataang. It casts doubt upon them, sure, but not complete disproof.

    And SgtHydra... many canon Zutarians are on my unreasonable-and-stubborn people list. You are not on that list. No, you are on the much worse offensive-and-stupid people list.


    sgt Hydra can't go away from the fact that Katara doesn't need to marry aang(or Zuko) sometime in the next 3 or 4 months, if they marry it will be when she is 20 or older

    all he sees is that he is 12, and forever will be 12(plus he thinks cpt picard, michael jordan and others are not sexy since they bald)

    i'm not sure if this point has alreday been made but there is a key differenc in each of the scenes of romance in the trailer:

    Katara is wearing her DOBS costume here meaning that this will happen before 316/317 as we see here back in her original fire nation disguise.

    In the KatAang pic, Katara is in her Fire Nation disguise. This means she has come out of her combat costume she used in DOBS. If you notice that in the Ember Island Players Clip, she uses her disguise which could mean that the scene may have happened after Katara's Hug with Zuko. This could then mean that Katara pulls away from aang during their kiss because she feels Guilty.

    Therefore i conclude that Katara hugs Zuko before kisses her.

    I would like to point out that nothing is rock solid until we see the episodes. oh, when are the DVD's coming out? I forgot oh, my take on the situation, is that aang told katara that he likes her so much, and gave up the AS for her, and tries to kiss her. But when she finds out, she feels horribe, that Aang sacrificed his one chance to defeat the firelord for her, and she does't want him to do that, so she pulls away. But, thats my take on things.

    we have risen from nothing more than the ramblings of mad prophets, to a cult following. we have transcended that mad following and risen through kataang's slings and arrows to become a legitimate ship. and now we have risen to become a true threat to kataang.

    there's no explaining this reaction away.

    there is no ambiguity to hide behind. she is not pleased. there is no more "katara hates zuko's guts," no more "kataang is already canon," no more "she liked the kiss, she was just worried about something else." kataang is far from dead. but it has undeniably taken damage. more than anything, to it's image of incincibility.

    i won't go so far as to say we're winning. i won't make the claim that kataang is on the ropes, but zutara has risen. general morado has returned. zutara prevails.

    How can you possibly prove that the Katara/Zuko hug is any more romantic than any of the Katara/Aang hugs? You saw just a tiny bit of it, and you're jumping to conclusions. And as for the Katara is Aang's mom thing, I'm not even going to respond to that one. I'm too lazy to dig up my old post that had over ten evidences that proved Katara and Aang have a relationship that goes way past friendship.

    I agree with you. It's past friendship.

    But it's still a mother-child relationship.

    As for the hug, link.

    Katara looks like she's been crying. Zuko looks like he is comforting her.

    If that's not a positive relationship (perhaps calling it romantic out of context may have been a streatch), I don't know what one is. And one could safely assume that they've moved beyond being friends.

    Zutara is like Obama, Kataang is like Hillary Clinton.

    Zutara is for change.

    This is exactly why I hate Zutara. It's shippers are way out of hand. That must be why I hate Obama for president too, : P.

    Katara wasn't crying. That hug was friendship. It looks like a hug that says, "I'm sorry I was a jerk. I shouldn't have been. I forgive you Zuko" Katara originally had a reason not to trust Zuko, but she she carried it to far. You Zutaraians think Heaven Above has came down to earth when Zuko and Katara hug, but when Katara and Aang hug, It's stupid, and THEY'VE HUGGED EXACTLY LIKE THAT THREE TIMES. And if you kiss your mother on the lips, and she kisses back...I'm a bit afraid.

    Also, if you even paid the slightest attention to the clip from 317 you would've realized that sokka said that the play was based on the journey to the water tribe and the journey to the heart of Ba Sing Se. Well if it shows Aang in the Guru nervous tention would happen. And Aang might've kissed her afterwards (I have proof that the kiss hapens in 317) and she doesn't want to be in the way. If Katara closed her eyes in the 310 kiss why would she back away now? It wouldn't make sense. It's something Aang said for her to do that. She doesn't look repulsed anyways... Also, I am most positive that the Zutara hug happened in the finale for reasons in which I am too lazy to explain.
