Glow Fly-A Glow Fly is a small insect indistinguishable from the common house fly. However, once provoked, the glow fly emits a luminescent glow that can easily blind threats. It is unknown if the Glow Fly uses its glow to attract mates (like the firefly), but the light it produces is strong enough to be seen from a large distance. The glow seems to become active at the Glow Fly's will. It is found in swamp areas.

Gran Gran (Kana)- Kana was born in the Northern Water Tribe, and was placed in an arranged marriage with Pakku. Pakku fell in love with her, but Kana could not go through with the wedding. She did not agree with all of the rules of the Northern Water Tribe, and didn't want those rules to ruin her life. She moved to the Southern Water Tribe, and started a family there. She became Sokka and Katara's grandmother, and looked over them when their mother died and their father went off to war.
Personality- Gran Gran is very kind and loving parental figure towards Katara and Sokka. She is wise, and offers really good advice. She supports her two grandchildren unconditionally.

Gan Jin Scout- This man was sent ahead of the Gan Jin tribe to "reserve" the services of the Canyon Guide.

Personality- The Gan Jin Scout is vocal. He does not hesitate to confront the Zhang tribe. He is also very arrogant and believes he is superior to the Zhangs.

Gan Jin Leader- This is an old man and the leader of the Gan Jin tribe in "The Great Divide". His tribe is going to Ba-Sing-Se because the Fire Nation destroyed their homes.

Personality- The Gan Jin Leader, as with the Zhang Leader, represents their tribes' cultural standard. The Gan Jin Leader is neat, cautious, and prejudice towards the Zhangs. Like the Zhang Leader, he can not see beyond his narrow-minded beliefs.

Green Catfish- This fish was seen taunting Sokka in the episode, "The Fortuneteller". The fish is chubby and green with a broad face that has whiskers. It has a short fin going from the top of its head all the way to the bottom of its spine. It has two yellow fins on each both sides of its body. The Green Catfish has the tendency to repeatedly jump high into the air.
