On another subject, what do you think the theme song to the spin off would be like, what if it's a cruddy singer because wouldn't it seem played out to narrarate in the beginning? |

when is it airing on Nickelodeon next? I watched the whole thing, but my VCR. Managed to miss the last 15 or so minutes. And it has to be on regular Nick; the house in the OBX has only the original. |

My opinion on the Finale:
A sheer epic. The music was great with actual orchestral pieces. The animation was superb especially during Zuko's fight with Azula and, of course, the showdown between Firelord Ozai and Aang. I loved watching the character's expressions. My favorite moment would have to go to when Zuko took the lightning bolt for Katara and how she cried when she healed him. And yes, I would be lying if I didn't say that I was disappointed that Zutara didn't happen. I am after all a true blue Zutara fan up to the bitter end. However, I thank the creators that they gave us some Zutara moments that were touching. So yes, I admit defeat but I will continue to be a supporter of the pairing in its fandom.
I thought Azula went down too easily though. I liked when she did finally go off the deep end whilst fighting but I wished they would have incapacitated her in a more epic way other than just chaining her to the grate. Yet, it was cool how she just started freaking out when she knew it was all over. I'd like to know what they did with her after that.
I'm looking forward to the potentiality of a spinoff series with hopefully, returning characters. The creators definitely left it open what with Zuko and his father's conversation in the prison cell.
All in all, very epic! I loved it despite my pairing not winning. My rating: 9/10.

Just saw the finale. I never use this word, but if ever it could be applied to something, those battles were "epic." I realize the word is worn out, but that's what they were. For those of us who hope for a spin off, there is still plenty of material to work with, even if it doesn't involve the Avatar directly. Overall, it was a fitting end to an excellent show. |

I rarely notice the music in TV shows, but this finale had some AMAZING music. I'm serious. It was awesome. It all fit in so perfectly with what was going on, and the different situations all blended together flawlessly. I especially loved the theme that played during the Zuko/Azula battle -- it was surprisingly slow and not as "epic", and really set the feel of the battle. It was just plain awesome. |

Mmhmm. The slower music made it all the more dramatic and final.

Did anyone else love the scene with Azula chained up and crying? |
