so how people think zuko is considerd a firebending master

    Yeah, it kind of looked like Sokka was swinging his sword around aimlessly. And everyone seemed to be not putting much effort into their fighting.

    Azula is a much better fighter than that. And so is Zuko. But who is better is a difficult question. But I don't think Zuko is a master.

    Zuko was a barely competent firebender before with a lot of willpower and anger. Since then, he's learned a lot about how fire works as an element, but he is nowhere near a master.

    HOWEVER, if Katara is any sort of guideline, Zuko will have mastered firebending in about 11 episodes.

    Yes but Zhao sucks, and Zuko didn't use any sort of extreme firebending skills to beat him, he merely burnt the ground so Zhao would eventually lose balance and fall (ie tripped him). Yes he used the concept of balance to his advantage but I don't think that makes him a master.

    i think alot of zutarans do because it woul fit the fortune teller theory more

    I wouldn't say jhao sucks, only because when Aang fought him he didn't just fight him straight forward. He beat him soundly but he used tactics. Jhao was still apparently dangerous enough for Aang to at least take him seriously.

    I mean, would you consider Azula a master? I doubt it (neither do I think so). Unless Zuko starts showing Iroh level wisdom and prowess regarding fire, he's just a very, very good Firebender like his sister.

    Powerful bender =/= master bender.

    You don't how good Zhao was at his best. And if were going on Zhao's skill level, then sure Zuko can be considered a master, but if we're talking real masters like Iroh, Ozai, Sozin, Roku and probably Azulon then I'd say no.

    I do not think that Zuko is a firebending master.

    1)He was still in training before he was seperated from his uncle

    2)He always lost against Azula

    3)When did Katara become a waterbending master?

    4)Just because he was in the royal family, doesn't mean that he is a master firebender. If you remember from some of the flashback episodes, his father was ashamed of his firebending disabilities.

    5)He can not make lighting. He can redirect it, but i don't remember him making it.

    ok mapletree but hes equal to azula last time he fought her in the boiling rock plus he beat zhao who was a fire bending master and hes way better thenhe was then. he might be able to make lighting because he solved his internal conflict.

    Oh I see what you mean, but there was no sign that those older guys were gifted, I don't ever remember it being stated they were gifted. Maybe they just worked hard to become what they are, and what gifted people don't count? Also yes he beat Zhao but not with amazing mastery of firebending, he simply made him lose his balance. And Auzla & Zuko were both holding back during the fight at the BR.

    ozai and iroh have a superior ability firebending possibly because of there family traits because mike and bryan stated that the firelord at one time were the most powerful fire sages and they eventually became a royal bloodline.

    No they stated that they were the leader of the other sages not the most powerful.
