Some of Azulon's notable achievements include: the conquest of the Hu Xin provinces, a victory at the Battle of Garsai and constructing the Great Gates of Azulon.

oh ya...so what exactly is the conquest and the battle???

The conquest of the Hu Xin provinces captured a large portion of land for the FN. The Battle of Garsai was also a pivotal battle in which the FN defeated the EK armies. Azulon was the general in charge of FN forces for both battles.

was Hu Xin in the EK?

A lot of it is in Avatar Wiki but I am not sure how much of it is actually accurate. It says he ruled fire nation for 75 years, which can't be right can it?

Yep it should be 23, I vaguely remember them saying so in the scene that showed Azulon's funeral.

Yeah, the Avatarwikia is a nice resource, but it is not rock solid info. I get my info from various sources such as the wikia, credible fan sites, books and other canonical Avatar resources.

That's not serious, right? Because we're going to be unfairly biased on these boards.

Many people, even hardcore fans of dragon ball series, have pretty low expections regarding the movie after a couple of photos regarding the cast was released and having watched the last live action movie based on dragon ball.

about azulon, i think in one of the first pages of my thread about dates, I established that Azulon was FL for 23 years; which was OFFICIALLY ESTABLISHED in episode 207

Fire Sage: (voice over at first) Azulon, Fire Lord to our nation for 23 years. You were our fearless (cut to a shot tilting up showing the Fire Sage with Azulon's gold sarcophagus behind him) leader in the battle of Gar Sai. Our matchless conqueror of the Hu Sin provinces. You were father of Iroh. Father of Ozai. Husband of Ila, now passed. Grandfather of Lu Ten, now passed. Grandfather of Zuko and Azula.

and his age might had been 75 at time of his death, and it might have been what lead to confusion at wikia

OK.. In Aang's epic fight with Ozai, when he redirects the last lightning blast, Im pretty sure Aang screws it up. You don't see his arm go down to his stomach he cringes and theres like lightning and stuff, so I'm pretty sure he electrecuted himself, and it couldn't have been for Ozai since he hadn't scene where he was firing the lightning. Can anyone confirm this or if i'm wrong explain it?
