I'm guessing if the first live action movie, The Last Airbender, is successful then the creators may go on to doing a Spin-off.

Oh, and I heard there was supposed to be an extra scene in the finale with Ursa, but Bryke cut the scene for some reason.

    1. Exactly right. They said they're making the movie right now, and after it's over they may release a new series.

    2. Right again. They decided to have the peace excerpt in the end instead. I fully agree with their decision. Tying all the loose ends would make a lot of fans lose interest in the show. Also, the peace excerpt exemplified how calm and collected everything has become. It was the resolution to the whole entire series. It foreshadowed the future; everything is as it should be. *cough Kataang cough*

I hope that deleted "Ursa Scene" is on the DVD.
Or Released on the internet, because I'm curious like that.

Speaking of Spin-Off, My friend told me a flyer was released claiming a new Avatar series was in works, and that it would be released in Spring 2009.
Whether or not it's true, I don't know, but I hope it is.
I just can't get enough of Avatar. I love it

Your friend is partially correct. It's not a new series, exactly, but a series of mini episodes going more in depth about the miniature plots that appeared throughout the series. Why did Iroh go into the Spirit World? What exactly did Qin the Conquerer do to his people that made Kyoshi so angry? Questions like that will be answered. Of course, this poster hasn't even been acknowledged by Bryke, so it's highly skeptical that it's a legitimate poster.

Yeah, Suki joining Team Avatar very important. If she had not joined...Toph and Sokka would not have survived Sozin's Comet.
Not necessarily, if you take Suki out of the equation the writers could simply have wrote that part differently. Alas Suki isn't that important to the plot. She's a recurring character who didn't really have her own storyline, while Azula did, and Mai & Ty Lee were essential in building that storyline.
I cannot remember which post exactly you said this in, but I remember you railing against using hypothetical situations when discussing Avatar. Do you not find it ironic you are now guilty of the same thing you went off on? I imagine the writers could have written it differently, but they did not. As the story now stands, Suki ended up saving Sokka and Toph from dying...which I consider a fairly important event.
I did say that in regards to "Zutara" happening, and the unlikely hood of that. I never said what ifs are bad mind you, I said that backing up your argument solely based on what ifs ain't gonna cut it.

In this case, if Suki were not there, I'm sure another way could've been found. But she was there, and played an important part in saving their lives, so yes she's important, as in important as the main gAang? No.

What part of the poster said anything remotely like that? I read mini-episodes, that could be anything, it could even be those chibi-shorts. So don't speculate and pass it off news.

Why does Azula have blue fire? We never found out. I think it's because she's a woman....

No. It's to show a difference between her and Zuko. The hotter blue fire is used to show her cold, calculating nature. she is also a firebending prodigy. It has nothing to do with her being a woman. Other female firebenders don't have blue fire, in fact when she was a child she didn't either.

I never intimated that Suki was as important as the other members of Team Avatar, but she was still important. I am glad you agree with me and seemingly disagree with what you said earlier in the post.

Well, it's symbolic of that, but technically there's more to it. Blue fire is one of the hottest forms of fire, which further proves how powerful she is.

That's what most of us have assumed the mini-series would be of, so far. Of course it hasn't be officially said that that's what the mini series will be about, but nothing has been officially said about it at all. I'm simply just trying to pass off information and possible ideas. I didn't mean to make it sound concrete. I thought my last sentence kind of clarified things, but I guess not.

I forgot the exact science to it, but I believe his form of fire is just a tad more powerful. I'm sure someone will come along and give you the specifics. Ugh, I can't believe I can't think of it right now.

Matter of fact, why are we arguing over a self-contradicting post anyway?

I was just saying not to imply that the plots of the series (or even the series themselves) are absolute, and giving out that impression can be confusing to some people.

I don't think I've flamed anyone in pointing that out, in fact I don't think anyone here has been flamed, and if someone took offense from my post, I sincerely apologize for that.
