yeah what cartoongal said. |
Also Zuko's Firebending skills seem much more percise. Though we havent seen him bending Iroh must be somehow teaching him..

Ahh someone else has noticed it too...here's a lil somethin' to show where this could lead...

I say stupid things in front of guys that make me seem really weird all the time, but that doesn't make ME gay Zuko's just a normal person who acts really dumb in front of the opposite sex. I'm surprised no one brought up how close Katara and Toph were getting |

I loved this episode. It was very touching, vey funny, OMG funny, and sad. |
Totally agree.?? It's amazing how a few short, little stories can change and deepen the characters and their relationships so much.?? Every story made me feel like crying a little except for you-know-who!?? The Sokka scene has the most hilarious thing I have seen in quite some time... maybe it's extra funny because I'm a teacher??? "Uh, that's one too many syllables, there, bub..."
Iroh---"If only I could've helped you..."?? Oh man...
I felt happy and very sad for Zuko.?? That post-date shot where he opened the partition was the saddest expression I've ever seen on his face-- like it suddenly hit him all at once, all the stuff he's been missing.?? ?? The Toph-Katara and Momo scenes made me feel sad too.??
Aang's apparently been practicing his earthbending??? ?? Well, if Ba-Sing-Se's wall goes down Aang can just whip 'em up a new one.??
By the way... I don't have any special feelings for or against Wikipedia, but I just have to point this out since Wiki's been bashed so much on here... Jin and Zuko were eating what looked like... spaghetti and meatballs?

wow, what an amazing episode. I really enjoyed this episode throughout, and I really didnt want it to end. It was really well done, and every tale was incredibly watchable. There are so many nice moments, i'd like to just list a couple that stick out since i just finished watching it: 1. Iroh's tale moved me the most. I feel sad for him that his son died, and even sadder that Mako has now left us. [Sigh] It just isnt the same knowing that Mako isn't around anymore. It's kinda sad everytime you see Iroh, you're reminded that Mako isn't with us anymore... 2. Katara had a beautiful moment with Toph, saying that "[she's] really pretty" 3. Loved when Aang gave those animals a newfound freedom (using another impressive display of earthbending of course). I really hate it when animals are neglected or abused, GO Avatar. 4. Ah Zuko, troubled troubled Zuko. I thought this was his greatest display of character yet, he really doesn't get a chance to make others happy. Last time he treated an Earth boy like his brother, and the boy 'stabbed' him in the back after he found out he was fire nation. Zuko even took the risk of exposing himself as a firebender just to make the girl happy. A really nice moment between Zuko and Jen. 5. Momo's tale saddened me as well, again reminding us of a lost member. I really liked how the hounds led momo to a footprint of appa, sucks that momo didnt realize it. 6. Sokka's tale wasnt bad, my least favorite in this very strong episde. it showed his cleverness and i love how he showed up that snobby lady. From favorite tale to least favorite (but still awesome) my order is: 1. Zuko 2. Iroh 3. Katara/Toph 4. Aang 5. Momo 6. Sokka |
THANK YOU! You wrote what was in my mind after watching the episode.
My favorite was Zuko's. You're right; he doesn't really get to make anyone happy, and in his tale he had a sort of heart of gold.
Iroh's tale was very sad and touching... IN HONOR OF MAKO, that was really nice they way they played it in contrast of his tale. Although at one point in Iroh's tale, when he saw the kids playing "soccer", his voice sounded a bit different.

oh two more things i need to mention: 1. Zuko's not gay He kissed the girl back after she kissed him if you gaysayers noticed. He just met this chick and he's going throught the worst of times. He risked his neck firebending for her too. 2. Filler or not, this episode was excellent. Personally, I dont think it was filler, it was a great way to show how the characters are doing in this huge city. They aren't traveling so they dont need to stick together anymore, the 'tales' format couldnt have been used better. Loved this episode. |
