    @Space: Usually my family just says "Sesame Street" because the joke originally started as "Today's episode of Sesame Street has been brought to you by the number 4 and the letter Q." But, I doubted you guys would get that, so I just went straight for "4Q."

    Changing the subject...

    I found this sad and awesome Maiko fanfic. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4326927/1/On_Solid_Ground

    I was thinking...Zuko's been through a lot: he suffered failure, disappointment, and loss. Practically the only good thing in Zuko's life is Mai. So, I was wondering...how would Zuko react if Mai dies (whether it's of sickness or in the hands of Azula)?

    For some reason, I see Zuko in a catatonic state for at least a few days, then he'll become like a shell and feel like he'll never feel good and complete again.

    What do you guys think?

    Well, I think Zuko would be sad if Mai died, but he's already lost so much that I don't think he'd go all emo on us for weeks on end or anything. He'd probably just cry for awhile and then lock it all inside. He's lost his mother, lost the trust/love of his uncle when he betrayed him, lost his girlfriend (sure he left her, but in BR he sure didn't seem sad to leave again - she didn't understand him), been brutally burned and hated by his own father, who even tried to kill him - Zuko's been through way too much to lose it from Mai's death. If it was his Uncle, I think his grief would be stronger, but not Mai. He loves her yes, but they hardly know each other.

    lol, that's harsh. I've lost some really important people in my life but even I feel tremendous sorrow when people not directly close to me die.

    I would be very sad....

    then I would go on the forums and see all the gloating n00bs and flee and hide from the Avatar forums...

    then I would read some really good fanfics and mourn my poor ship.

    True, that was very harsh. So I'm against Maiko as the end ship a little......lol.

    I know what you mean, I feel really sad when people I don't know very well die too. So, ok then, Zuko will be very upset if Mai died. However, as this is a cartoon, he'd bounce right back eventually (after the usual exploitation of his emo-ness), but as its a kid's cartoon, we'll never have to worry about that happening
