    On directTV on Nicktoons Network they are playing the Episode were the Fire Nation attacks the North Pole. So its a long time untill they are back up to the Fire Nation, but they play one a day not one a week.

    Does anyone else think the little teasers for Avatar still shown on Nick are rather pointless and almost cruel. I mean my kids were watching 'Barnyard' the other day and one of those 'Can you guess who this is?' puzzlers came on and of course it was an arrow and durrr it was Aang...but my kids were hilarious because they shouted at the TV saying 'why should anyone know who the heck Aang is, you don't air his show anymore!!!" I was like 'heh heh heh yeah really."

    I mean jeez why air the little 2 second blips of Avatar when you don't even freakin' air the show in any form anymore. I mean it would be one thing if the reruns were airing at least once per week. But heaven forfend we interrupt the four hours a day that SpongeBob airs! God. LOL

    There has been a report that the writers of Avatar: The Last Airbender are currently on strike, and although all the episodes have been created prior, they will not air any more until the strike is over. Chapter 14 of Book 3 will not be released until further notice. I will try to keep updates. Thank you.

    And why would they strike if the series is already created? What would that do?


    As I replied in the last forum, Im still waiting for the answer to that, but I hear there was a disagreement as to how the plot line should continue.

    in Canada as they tend to do ONE EPISODE AT A TIME even when it was DOBS (I put them doing one hour for DOBS and Boiling rock just in case)

    USA NICK (according to a friend who has an inside source) as he was told 312 would air in April in the USA, and there are only 2 possible dates in order to be before the book

    April 25 316 (or 314-315?)
    May 2 317 (316?)
    May 9 Finale(or 317?)11 days ahead of Simon and Schuster book and most likely so that it will be same day as YTV
    May 16 (Finale? just before the Simon and Schuster book)

    The writer's strike has already ended. It never affected Avatar because all of S3 was finished in August of 2007. That was confirmed by one of the Avatar directors on his Deviant Art blog. S3 is COMPLETELY finished and has been completely finished for some time now. The reason why it has not aired is totally at the cruel whim of the suits at Nick.

    I heard something earlier that the reason they havn't aired any new episodes was because they were arguing on how they want the plot line to continue. It was either on this forum, another forum, or some were on google.
