    darn viacom.

yes isnt it a surprise. that viacom is the man behind the man (a long feng). viacom has done this becuase they have rights to the episodes of their brands. if all of their episodes were on youtube they would surely lose profits from the dvd market and tv ratings would go down. not just for avatar but for their many other shows.

yes i agree with you viacom really pisses me off. but its buisness there really isnt much you can do about it.

The only thing Viacom should really care about are leaked episodes and pirated episodes. Fanvids cause absolutely no harm, and actually increase advertisement.

Free advertising is right. People like Raven's vids and the Naztradamix's Chance Avatar vid have been viewed about a million times combined and yet Viacom is so stuck up, they won't accept it and would allow it to be taken down.

These fans are giving tribute but because of leaked episodes, those tributes are being threatned with extinction.

That shouldn't even phase a big corporation like Viacom, if you look at all of their DVD sales they are making millions of dollar a week.
Not to mention that Viacom's subsidiary, Nick doesn't even show trailers for certain shows and when they do, they lack epicness, but the people you've mentioned always make it epic and make you wanna watch more, so not only is it free advertisement, it's good advertisement.

Nick has always seemed to let the fans take care of the advertising, so they don't have to spend the money to do it themselves. But now, they are even willing to downplay the show all together. Yet again, I can't understand the logic of Viacom/Nick execs.

No videos by GanXingba or Raven is just insane. Fanvids don't take away their earnings. At all. If anything, they encourage people to buy merchandise more.

Not likely since ASN is, as Lisa puts it "Nick's lapdogs".

But if that were to happen, then we know something is seriously wrong.

You didn't know about Blaster? Well actually I don't think he got as much coverage as Hydra, but they're both over at the Refuge.

No, I was gone over the weekend if that's when it happened. I need to join the Refuge.

    But this really sucks..

Damn. I really don't need to lose my AMV's.
15 hours compressed into a 4-minute clip would be a rather irritable loss, wouldntyasay?

I mean what about the people that busted their azzes to do that, and to make these parodies.

If they do this to Naruto and delete beesnipe's videos.. I swear to the gods this'll b the last straw.
