And it should be at the very beginning if it shows, so i may get to see it. I'm sure you all care though. |

Personally, I think an online game would be a great addition to the IP. The problem with the current Avatar games is the same problem I have with most 'licensed' games. Good films, graphic novels, and television shows are able to create a universe, and through the telling of the story help us to greater understand that world. When the IP moves over to the game medium, I expect the same respect given to the universe that was given to the original story and 'verse. However, the same story with the same characters is told, often stripped down to fit one game; worse still, it's often an action/adventure brawler along a railway-track world. The result is that it contributes nothing to the universe, and somewhat invalidates a story we have already experienced. A continuation of the same story can almost be as bad. Games should tell different stories. OUR stories that take place in this universe. A universe that we can choose to experience in a way that we wish. An MMO set in the avatar world is one I would play, given a respectable and talented development studio in collaboration with the show's creators were at the helm. |

Yes it is confirmed by ASN that the first panel is today on the 25th. There's the signing panel tomorrow on the 26th.
And yes! THE PANEL HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!
