We already know much of Roku's story in Book 3, so it's unlikely. I think Avatar Kyoshi's life is more interesting and seeing a female Avatar is more refreshing. She lived more than 200 years after all and was the head of the Dai Li.
But we already know the outcome of her story, so younger viewers wouldn't be interested. They're only choice, really, would be to make a completely new Avatar. All because us Avatards think it would be more insightful and interesting to go more into the series doesn't mean Nick will like it. They want to appeal to younger viewers, so they've got to think of something new and fresh. IF the mini-episodes are true, then that is what will explain Kyoshi's past.

Not to be mean but I highly doubt that. I mean why would Bryke waste their minisodes by explaining about Kyoshi? She bairley ever made an appearance on the show.

I think that's the point. And it's not mean, it's an expression of your opinions . We really don't know any information about the mini episodes, so we can't be sure. But I think the whole point of them would be to evaluate on the history of mini plots in the series.

I'm kinda hoping for a thing like the episode Tales of Ba Sing Se. Just showcasing each characters life after the war.....But I would totally cheer for a movie to be made about them like an OVA. Something with spirits that takes place a couple years later that doesn't affect the plot.

it would be cool if they made a completely new avatar series where all the original characters are full grown and iono maybe aang has an airbending son. then maybe things havent been going too smoothly with rebuildling the world because theres like a group of loyalists of fire lord ozai led by some powerful dude and the story is to try to stop them or something. that way a lot of questions can be answered and theres a new feel to the avatar series.

There is indeed an Avatar MMO releasing. Also, if they wanted to create a threat to the world that could conceivably rival Aang's power, I imagine they would have to make it a non-human. Maybe Koh and Wan Shi Tong are going to lead a spirit attack on humanity for its past sins? It is a stretch, but the spirits are the only entities that could conceivably challenga Aang.

sorry for double post, but just wanted to add that the old characters could be in like the white lotus club if they all grown up in a possible new series.
