    I live in Chicago and G4 is on channel 136 (comcast), all you have to do is search comi con on your cable and you should find it.

    Thanks I'll be checking youtube desperately tomorrow, so I can probably pinch in the patience to wait. I just REALLY need to know what the big news is. It better not be about the new game.

    i know...i totally agree....if it is the game that is the big news....i think that the creators were just being evil by saying, "There's much more we want to tell about the avatar universe..." seriously...if its the game...i think im gonna....well....cry and die.....hahaha.....wait...when was the game announced???? today???

    Hey guys, I was able to get a chance to walk into an internet cafe and check up on the forum to see if anyone had any news regarding the Comic Con and Avatar.

    Looks like I'll have to wait till I get back to the hotel or walk over to the other internet cafe by my hotel . I swear I'd get up at 1:00 in the morning just to check up on this. It sucks that the one chance I get to catch some news, I'll be sitting in a car on my way back home. I'll have to be watching my G4 recordings and reading up on the forums when I get back home to officially catch up on the news regarding the future of Avatar. I sincerely hope they continue the series. It just seems to me that Bryke ended this AMAZING series way before its time. As much as I'd like to see the gAang continue more adventures, I highly doubt that would actually happen. If they were to continue the series, it would be more probable for them to continue it with a new set of characters, rather than using the gAang again. I'd hate to see the gAang go after all the great adventures, but it's just so incredibly likely that their time is over. To be entirely honest, changing the set of characters could cause the series to lose its fan base, which would be a shame. I really enjoy this series, but mainly because of the great character development that was made with the gAang. Whether it is good or bad, my admiration for the series would change entirely.

    Who said there was going to be a big announcement? The only thing I can find that says it is the initial post on this forum, and on the official comic-con website, the only thing stated about Avatar is a screening of the finale, Q&A with Bryke, and an autograph session. I'm starting to think that there is no announcement, and the only Avatar fill we're getting between now and M. Night Shyallalalamaman's movies is that MMO that looks like a typical Nickelodeon game.

    I'd cry and die, too XD But seriously, I don't think they'd do that to us. I mean, they can be evil at times, but this is serious! lol. One joke, and they'll have the entire fandom after them And I think it was announced today... I just saw a board on it and a preview on youtube. It looks pretty cool.

    I've heard from some other people on the forums here, and on other Avatar websites. Whether it is true or not is up for speculation. The majority of the Avatar fans are believing (or hoping) that there is some huge announcement. I've just heard it from so many people who claim it to be true. I believe that they cited some interview with one of the producers of Avatar and they said that they were preparing a big announcement for the Avatar fans at the SDCC.

    I am currently watching G4's live ComiCon 2008 coverage and there has been nothing about Avatar yet, but if they say anything about it ill keep you all posted. Also, if they do not say anything, does anyone know where to look tomorrow for all the news?

    I don't know. I almost don't want them to continue with the exact same team. I mean I love the gAang and all but i'm too afraid they could screw it up but that is just me. All though i would love something in the same universe.
