I thought Bryke set out to only make 3 seasons though? Don't you think it'd be a little odd to make a fourth one out of the blue like this? I mean sure I'd probably enjoy a book four and I want more Avatar but I don't think the creators planned it like that?

We'll see. Even if the 4th season blows for whatever season, we still have a beautiful saga of the original 3. So I don't really care.

there isnt any more conflict...so the only thing they could do is tie up loose ends....and/or show a "10 years later" kinda thing...and aang is a fully realized avatar...that would be cool...b=maybe there could be a huge fire nation rebellion...idk

The possibility of a book four is well, rather high. Although I have high doubts it'd be about the GAang most likely a prequel to the whole story, about the past avatars or leaders maybe Air Nomads, it's open too a lot, wait for confirmation, patience is a virtue.

I hope there isn't a four season, I'd rather a spin-off. Another season wouldn't be well-planned (no offense Mike and Bryan) and everything has pretty much been summed up. Plus, for the season four finale, how are they going to top the last one?

I personally wouldn't mind an extra episode as an epilogue though.

the people who are hosting the sdcc 08 live on g4....

they could always announce it....like tell everyone to the world......i have no idea...im just gonna wait now...hahaha

Guys Shadowcloud86 just announced that she heard it directly from her sister (Dramaelfie) who was ACTUALLY at SDCC. Mike and Bryan announced during the Avatar Panel that there would be an 'Avatar Book Four: Air.'
Shadowcloud86 and Dramaelfie have met Bryke in person at Nick Animation Studios before in the past and are 100 percent reliable Avatard sources.
This is good news, except knowing Nickelodeon we will probably have to wait another year before seeing any signs of this next book and there will be loads of hiatus periods between episodes as per usual.
So it's a glass is half empty or half full kind of thing depending on where you stand.
