Does Katara love Aang? The Ending

After seeing the new trailer, wich ship ( you think ) will happen?

    I will applaud when a zutarian says

    there is a chance that as katara and zuko interact more, they get closer and something develops between them, and they end up together, as Katara has not indicated yet decisively what are her feelings about aang


    and I WILL NOT applaud if a zutarian goes

    Zuko is destined for Katara, he definitely dumped Mai for good; and Aang is too young to marry Katara, and her final scene in WAT proves that she sees aang as her son


    right now things LEAN toward Kataang, but if things develop in the next 3 or 4 episodes that changes it to a bigger likelihood to zutara, I WILL SAY SO, and I will shake any weak arguments in favor of kataang, and show why is more unlikely, just as I do right now with some of the zutara arguments

    that is what I mean by "being neutral"

    I keep watching the part when aang is running to see the temple and katara runs and stops him with aang's staff. She looks like such a girlfriend when she does that. I'm just saying. I know random.

    I don't want to start a war, but when did wiselad say kataang was proven?


    Several times, he was pointing Kataang.
    no, he said he goes with most likely, and AS OF RIGHT NOW, Kataang is more likely and Zutara is IMPLAUSIBLE, not impossible.

    my fav team is the Lakers in the NBA

    if I saw a game of them against Spurs, and at halftime the spurs were ahead of them 63-37, I will say "looks like Spurs will win big this game"; if at end of 3rd quarter, the score is now 70-67 with spurs still ahead, I will say "spurs still ahead, but the momentum might allow the lakers to win"

    notice that even when the lakers are my team, in the first case i didn't say "no chance for the lakers" and in the second I didn't say "spurs has no chance, lakers wil go ahead and win at the 4th quarter"

    how more impartial I would be in this ship war? When I will be as equally happy with Katara choosing aang or zuko(as long as the writers make EITHER CASE well written), I really don't care who wins, I just don't want it to be without any foundation the writer's choice (whichever it is)

    As usual you jump to conclusions. You have always gone out of your way to say Kataang does not exist. You fail to acknowledge anything. Wise lad is correct in his assumptions. There has been more kataang than Zutara. That is something no one can disapprove. You are trying to disapprove but you cant. It exists. Just because Zuko is joining the group does not mean Zutara will happen. It doesnt mean Kataang wont happen either. WHether or not Kataang happens or Zutara happens remains to be seen. I for one believe that by the end of the show, Katara and Zuko will be good friends but not together. I also think that Zuko will be the one who helps Katara figure out her feelings with Aang and by that I mean she'll realize how much she loves Aang.

    I may disagree with you and your beliefs, I just want you to know I respect them and you. After all this is just a kids show and were all fans of it, nonetheless. Just dont take anything I say here personally because after all, its just my opinions.

    leonmorado, I never said you were idiotic or moronic. I was meaning some Zutarians. who gloriously dont realize what they're spewing. I have alot of respect for you on your beliefs. You've always been straitforward with them and I never would put you in the class of crazy zutarians. (Though some may call me a crazy Kataanger!LOL!)

    yeah they tend to ignore that. (Along with the rest of the 2.5 Seasons of Kataang) however WiseLad, good point. I think it will most likely be that she wanted to lean in, because her reflex reaction was when she furrowed her brow, stood straight up and blinked three times rapidly.

    I can't deny the possibility of Katara to look at Aang from other side and to fall in love with him, can i? Of course i can't. But it seems really-really weird for me... She loves him, she enjoys talking to him and to take care of him, but still she loves him another way. I don't imagineWHAT Aang should do to make Katara love him the way he loves HER, he tried to open his feelings several times, he got a big pleasure everytime she kissed him at the cheek, he said some nice things, he danced with her, he even kissed her once, but still nothing!!! Why??? She's not blind, she should see his feelings toward her, but why doesn't she?!Doesn't she want to? Or she does but just doesn't show it?! I think second... Ok, and for what reason doesn't she show it? Yes, she was surprised or even shocked by the kiss, but we still don't know whether her reaction was negative or positive. She looked disappointed after their kiss but maybe she was just afraid for him to not survive after the battle, no-one knows yet!!! And i hoped that we would understand her feelings toward Aang in 12th episode, but we didn't. OK, the gaang has a lot of more important things to discuss, but still she restrains herself for such a long time. Let's guess the reason...

    both sides(not just Zutara or kataang)want to rush their ship of choice to the altar

    no one except for Zuko and maybe Haru have reached the age to be allowed to get married(age 16 is the minimum to be "officially engaged")

    not even Mai(15, a few months or weeks away from able to do that, only to be able to be a GF, but not engaged)or Sokka(15 also)

    Katara and Aang as of RIGHT NOW are only 14 and 12(physically and emotionally, even though chronologically Aang is over 100)

    if they want to be sweet to each other is their choice, if there are only a few years of diference.

    12 might look as "very young"

    but when aang is 20 and katara 22, it will be VERY ACCEPTABLE if they decide to get engaged

    Roku knew his eventual wife before he became 16, and he didn't marry her until he was 28

    again, if "whoever" love each other, what is it to you? we not talking yet about going to the altar

    we shouldn't think "Aang is 12, he is too young to get married" we should think in simple terms of BF and GF, as in the way early teens are(or should be) in our society about that added to way things are in the "world of the 4 nations" which is different

    just like 21st century 14 year old boy is different than an 1840's 14 year old man from the old west

    lulsz, I don't know why I'm here so much.

    I do not like shipping.

    I guess you could say I support "kataang", because it happens in the show.
    If "zutara" were to happen, I would support it, too.

    But it does not.
    There is nothing there. (yet?)

    So why don't we all just get along until we get some evidence for zutara too? Cause this fight doesn't seem fair.

    It could be possible that Aang and Katara are a couple already. It could've gone without words. They aren't making out but still. Nothing is impossible... Just a thought.

    Edit: I don't believe that myself.
