Does Katara love Aang? The Ending

After seeing the new trailer, wich ship ( you think ) will happen?

    What proof is there that Katara even loves Zuko or vise versa? It was never even suggested in the series and was an idea thought up by fans.

    The closest to proof shown is in the Crossroads of Destiny and even so, the concern shown by Katara to Zuko is the 'motherly concern' Zutarians stress that Katara has.

    as a mostly impartial person(I go with what has more possibilities)

    it seems more like Zutara supporters are going to one of the three classic attacks on kataang

    1- Aang is too young

    so? Katara is too young too for marriage, we talking BF-GF in the sense of early teens, not late teens, by the time that aang is at least 18(and katara 20) it doesn't look so silly that they will consider THAN marriage, even Mai is still too young, she still has a few months or weeks till she becomes 16; and aang is starting to grow and become more mature, and what is important is how Aang and katara feel and see about each other a few yrs in the future

    2- Katara sees Aang as a lil brother or a son (which is now the arm of choice for what happened at the last 2 episodes including the final part of WAT)

    Bull, she is of a motherly nature, she has shown to be same way toward Sokka, toph and EVEN JET even though at the time she met him she was infatuated with him; and I am sure that Zutara supporters will not say same thing if katara learns to trust Zuko, and starts being motherly to him also, you either will say, she doesn't look at zuko as a big brother or say "she is being motherly as usual"

    3- Zuko is more exciting, Aang is boring

    sorry if you(some Zutara supporters, I am not naming every zutarian) think that someone who is mild and nice in nature is boring, I guess it is better to go with a leather wearing guy that is a clips members than to be with the the guy who is preppie, belongs to the science club and after school volunteers at the library reading stories to little kids

    I think the main mistake most Kataangers make is their assumption that because we support Zutara, we automatically think they are in love in the show. I'm a Zutarian, but I will tell you: Zuko and Katara do NOT love each other. Far from it. They have a lot of stuff to work out before they can even be close enough to call each other friends. And secondly, whoever posted the arguments has posted the weakest arguments Zutara has against Kataang. I don't blame anyone, as most of the Zutarians people ave probably encountered are retards, but, seriously guys. Kataang has some pretty stupid/shallow/weak arguments against Zutara too. (I won't list them, I'm pretty sure you know them. )


    All of us shippers are flipping psychotic if you ask me. D:

    Oh, dear, I'm afraid you guys are looking for a fight that I refuse to participate in! I didn't say at all which ship was better or anything like that, just that not all Zutarians think that they are in love on the show. I WAS being realistic. C'mon, anyone who thinks Zuko and Katara have a romantic relationship or even a close one at this point is delusional. There is NO proof that they love each other, or anything. You talk to any Zutarian who says that, then you're not talking to a sane one. Listen, I'm just trying to defend the sane Zutarians out there, not say which ship is more likely to "win" or become canon or anything like that. I know better.

    Time is not an argument. A lot of things can happen in one episode, like the death of the CM, ZUko being good during an entire episode, Zuko taking his decision in the DOBS, and days and nights cycle.

    It is, it wouldn't be good to rush it all, if the creators would rush it, Aang would have defeaten Ozai by the end of season 1.

    I have to admit though, time can be very relative in these shows. It might be "rushed"...

    I put the cases against Kataang most often used, I hope you see that the "we can see that she looks at aang as a lil brother or a son from the final part of WAT" is very weak argument against kataang--------

    most zutara supporters DO NOT say that zuko and katara are in love(but a slight few do); I agree it is stupid if some katangers say that zutarians say that, but it is not most of them--------

    the problem with Zutara arguments are that they are VERY SUBJECTIVE, and factual things used from the show are very few, and lot of the kataangers and most neutrals only say that Zutara is unlikely, and that those arguments are many times stronger if applied toward kataang, making it even more likely than Zutara, that is not the same as saying zutara is impossible
