Katara obviously reciprocated Aang's kiss during the beginning of it, she looked away because she was sad he might not come back and she didn't have faith herself (which can be further proved by reading "The Bridge" in the Avatar magazine where she says she has no faith in herself). She stared a him when he flew off for a looong period of time, and she went right to him at the end of the episode SO. There was no awkwardness between them, and she's still right here at his side.
    maybe she just went with it because of the moment , who knows now that zuko has switched sides

    See youre in denial too. You obviously cant see whats in front of you. Do you actually believe she's going to pick Zuko over Aang, after evrything he's done? He helped Azula almost kill Aang! He's been chasing them for a long time. PLUS theres is no plot development for them. YOU CANNOT COUNT THE CAVE> WHEN SHE SAW AANG SHE DASHED RIGHT TO HIM. SHE PICKED AANG OVER HIM!!!     Hey, come now, just calm down. Don't get me wrong, I can defiantely see where the firebreathing is coming from (To put it polietly, until I met some rather logical people here at the boards, my own view of Zutara fans weren't exactly uh, high. Heck, they still aren't except for those few posters I speak of. And most of my friends that love the show won't come near too many forums, let alone shipping threads because of those people sadly.) but the poster did make an excellent point. I don't think they meant to outright tell you what you need to do or better do, I think it was just a bit of friendly advice: you really don't have to go off insulting people and being rude just to get your point across.

    Fine. Some posters did do it to you and maybe they do it often, but why go down to their level? I mean really? Besides, not every Zutara fan is a fanatic that makes you wonder--and worry--about who will be leading our Country in a few years and don't deserve the heat. (It's bad enough they get it mostly JUST by being Zutara fans as a whole, as I've found they get ridiculed and insulted enough as is...though some do deserve it, yes.)

    Meh, to make that ridiculously sounding after school special post short: chill out, take this drink (whatever you like, that's what it is) and laugh. Cause come on.     Katara isAang's girl, and she's been Aang's girl for so long that it's hard to pinpoint just when she decided that's what she is.


    And Zuko has finally decided whose definition of honor is applicable, that it's useless to seek love from a man who doesn't understand the concept. If Zuko's joining the Avatar to save the world from his father, he's not about to take the Avatar's girl away from him, Mai or no Mai. He knows about Kataang- surmised as much as far back as the Waterbending Scroll- not completely accurate in every respect as far back as that, but the safest and easiest conclusion to come to given Katara's behavior. And her behavior in Siege of the North and the hug in Crossroads would only confirm this conclusion. The important thing here is not what exactly was happening between Aang and Katara, but how it would look to someone who observed what Zuko observed. He's tried to use the relationship against them as their enemy. As their friend, he would have to support it.

Katara defended Aang BECAUSE he is her friend, and you couldnt see anything more from that. In Waterbending scroll he was asking her about where he is and offering her necklace back to her, he never mentioned anything about them being together or her helping to trap him. In Crossroads she hugged Aang- So? Their friends and Aang just came and freed her. Its not like they kissed or Katara looked lovingly at him. She smiled and said Aang and hugged him, Aang gave Zuko a dirty look, Zuko looks back in confusion, Iroh hugged him and Zuko asked why the Avatar was here. Iroh told Katara and Aang to go, Aang drags Katara behind him as she looks back at Zuko with a caring and concern expression. Zuko questions Iroh and then Azula appears.

    If Sokka can go on for 2 seasons being with Aang and Katara all that time and not clue in to Aang having feelings for Katara i dont think Zuko would.

    sorry? i didnt twist anything. I said Zutara is very unlikely. I was commenting on if Zuko knows about Aangs feelings for Katara and, IF Katara likes Aang; Katara's feelings for Aang.

    but I hope both of ya agree that IF Aang and Kat show feelings toward each other in 312 or 313; or IF Zuko continues having feelings for Mai, and even if Kat and Aang are just friends

    Zuko would never consider consciously going for Katara, remember, he went to them with the plan of giving support to the Avatar, not in plans of stealing the person Aang loves

    Not the way i would word it, but yeah . He isnt going there planning to hook up with Katara and isnt thinking about anything like that at moment- He is going to train Avatar and bring balance to the world
