Does Katara love Aang? The Ending

After seeing the new trailer, wich ship ( you think ) will happen?

    I know you didn't, someone else did. And they referenced the "medicine" quote as proof.

    I was saying the medicine quote for my own paragraph, paraphrasing from what the creators said. I posted the link to the interview to show where I got the phrase from. That was Mike (or Brian's) own opinion for stories in general. I never stated the creators said Zutara was impossible, but I have seen some people saying that the creators said on a Season 1 DVD commentary, (paraphrasing) "Zutara? You'd have a better chance of Momo/Appa."


    Yeah, sweet souvenirs, but now Zuko is good, and everything is possible. even Momo/Appa (dont take me seriously on this one) The reason why they said that, it was mainly because Zuko was an enemy, but it was planned that he will join the gaang eventually.

    Avatar Roku can control the avatar state and is married and have kids, so Aang can still do both.

    First off I want to apologize to a couple of people I might have offended, avrurakinninami and Sektos. You guys have never bashed Kataang that I know of and then I bashed Zutara to you guys when It was someone else that had pissed me off. As I have said before I dont have a problem with most Zutarans, I respect your ship (Albeit a sinking one LOL) its just the ones that are so crazy (How I acted when I'm usually more reserved) saying that Aang should be treated like crap and what have you. Again I apologize.

    I still dont believe Zutara will happen theres more evidence to a Kataang relatonship than anything and all Zutara has is the cave. Which is not saying much. I just dont think the creators would go and set the example of her picking Zuko just because some people think they would be good together. If you look at it, the way aang's and Katara's relationship has grown since season two is simple to see and understand. I just dont think they would ever start a relationship between two people who are opposites. And they are opposites. fire and water. Zuko is going to be more focused on teaching Aang how to firebend and searching for his mother and Uncle than to worry about stealing Aangs "forever girl" Besides I from the beginning Zuko and Aang were destined to become great and allies and I dont see that happening if Katara picks Zuko over Aang. I know some Zutarans like to use the little chibi shorts as proof of Zutara. Well how about this. The new Avatar game (CAnt remember what its called. ) Zuko said to his Uncle "Look its the Avatar's Girlfriend." I know the game is not canon but neither are the Chibi shorts. I just dont see any evidence of a relationship between Zuko and Katara.

    I would like to see some screenshots of that particular moment, in the game. Thats could be interesting. But, let just wait for the WAT and what could occur for the next episodes, I still believe that Zutara is planned, and that kiss just showed that Katara is not in love with Aang.

    Its funny, because in the same game Iroh says "i thought they were just friends" if i remember correctly could be wrong. Also whats funny is that alot of Kataangers think we ship Zutara because they are opposites, when in fact they are not- they're very similar with a couple of tiny differences. Also IF Zutara were to happen it wouldnt be Katara "picking", it would develope from them working together and getting to know one another. Anyho we'll see what happens. Hopefully creaotrs will do good job. As a fan of the characters if Katara just Hooked up with either Aang or Zuko with no developement on her half i will be piszed. I think thats whats going to happen with Katara over next 10 eps, with her developing feeling for Aang. It would be a major cop-out if they ignored Katara's last 2.5 seasons of Developement and paired her off with Aang- and thats my Kataang (2nd ship) self talking. BUT THATS HIGHLY UNLIKELY, especially after with what was seen in DOBS kiss.

    the most laughable part is that the "blue spirit" won, but who was one of the 4 "losers?" ZUKO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    and he is one who said "nooooooooooooo!!!!!!" than starts crying than says " I did not see that coming"

    And I respect that. But I believe Kataang is planned and will happen. I just dont see any basis for Zutara.

    She has 95% of the time shown herself to clearly care for him and a Brother and friend. She hasnt acted or said anything differently around Aang, about Aang when with other or by hersellf since beginning of the show. She is oblivious to his feelings about her (even stated on many sites last time i checked) and after evry moment where something could happen it never happens and Katara acts exactly the same next episode and still oblivious to Aang's feelings- Fortune Teller after sokka's comment, Cave of 2 lovers ("ridiculous idea"- her and Aang kissing), Headband and Kyoshi island with a little bit of jealousy (which happens between friends also) of Aang getting so much attention from other girls. And then there is her reaction during and after Kiss (see my blog) which clearly (IMHO) shows she doesnt feel the same (which includes confusion) for Aang (yet). Thats why sooo many ppl dont see Katara having romantic feelings for Aang.

    Add to that we have 10 eps left- i highly doubt the creators would be so lazy and screw fans by having them hook up and be a couple for nxt 10 eps (i put more emphasis on this in blog ).

    Eveybody sees the kiss differently. The look she gives I believe is sadness on the fact that he was going to fight Ozai and might not come back. If you look at her body language, she was into it. She didnt back away and she was still into it. I respect your opinion but I dont see why you think that way. Plus there was no awkwardness between them later. As for screwing the fans by hooking them up, it would be a far more worse crime if they hooked Zuko and Katara up after not having any kind of interaction except for a few moments in the cave. She was reaching out to him, yes, but as a friend. ANd what trust she gave is defintely gone.

    Hay, i dont think Zutara is going to be any more than a close friendship now, ive been saying that since start of S3. IMO if you look at body language you'll see she isnt feeling the same. Theres a difference between backing off with eww and being kissed by a close friend suddenly and being confused. If you want my full objective analysis of the kiss ive posted in in my Blog. You dont have to agree, but its easy to see why i think she doesnt feel the same yet. And i do talk about after the sub scene.

    Zuko cried like a baby but Aang turned into dust and floated away.

    Has anyone ever brought up the Headband, when Aang and Katara dance? Katara gets jealous that Aang is dancing with a different girl and then acts all lovey-dovey shy when he offers to dance with her. Then they tear up the dance floor. She even kisses him afterwards.

    She's totally got the hots for the Avatar.
