I think it would be cool to have an OWL sig with the Lotus Pai Sho tile too.

    Fellow Disciples of the Dragon,

I am very sorry but after recent events I would please ask that you accept my resignation as a Disciple of the Dragon. I fear I am entirely too outspoken and passionately opinionated to represent the DOD in a good and positive way. Other forum members undoubtedly interpret my actions as being reflective of the entire community. I do not wish to compromise the DOD's noble efforts on the forum through my very strong and highly vocal views on varying subjects. I am very sorry for any damage I may have already caused the community and hope that your disassociation with me will help mend and heal any rifts between the DOD and the Avatar forum at large. Thank you so much for your understanding in this matter.

    Always,

    Lisa31468

I'm sorry Lisa, but I do not accept your resignation. If anything, you have been a key member of this community. You have always been fair and kind with other posters. And while you might do away with your icon, your name will never leave this thread, nor this forum as a disciple. Please, reconsider.

    Srsly.

If this has anything to do with what I typed earlier in my long post in your thread, this isn't really what I wanted. And while I did use the words "you" or "your" or whatever, I wasn't specifically addressing you, Lisa.

I was just expressing my opinions not just on the actions but on the conceptions and fundamental philosophies held by a lot of the fans here. While I DON'T think it's very OWLesque to complain about Nick, that doesn't mean it's something to crucify you over.

We watch Avatar, we learn about redemption. It's one of the biggest themes in the show. One little thread isn't enough to make me regret nominating you for this. ;D

TLDR version: hush up and keep it.

ACTUALLY. I'm supposed to be writing a paper now, analyzing some poetry. >_> Hence the "irony" in it.

Getting off the irony, I don't think you should leave either. Personally we should have a good balance of opinions. Most people here are teenagers, so the use of a more knowledged adult balances out things since most aren't aware of how the real world works. (not pointing any fingers of course.)

You really shouldn't leave them. You've been a key member and I really don't see any reason for you too. If aything, the fact you're so passionate about Avatar is even more reason to stay. To quote King Bumi "you fight with much fire in your heart".

Oh how does one begin to define real?

My point being that she can argue much better than a teenager or young adult because she has more experience to build her arguments on facts, not just pointless angst and rambling. Also, she's a mom. When was the last time you won an argument with a mom? That's right, once.
