Truly those were fantastic episodes. It's strange how Sokka become hot headed and didn't think things through while Zuko became a lot more thoughtful (even though his sayings involve eating silver sandwiches). The only minor disappointment is that they only showed the rest of the Gaang for about a minute. Maybe they could have been rescued by them in the end. But I've been wanting an episode that put Sokka and Zuko together. They listen to my dreams!

Yea so now we have an episode of Aang & Zuko (FBM) and now Sokka & Zuko and judging by the trailers we'll have one with Katara & Zuko, looks like Toph gets left out of the Zuko team-ups.

I couldn't resist watching these two episodes. But I don't regret it; it was sweeet. Also, it is now proven that spending a bunch of time in a FN prison makes you super buff and pwnful. Just look at Iroh and Suki ^_^

Edit: Oh, but I was also surprised a little that Zuko didn't seem more concerned about Mai. I mean, she saved their lives, but Azula was still on the island. Didn't it occur to him that she might be in some pretty big trouble?

It was definitely needed for Sokka and Zuko to team up for something.

The episodes were AMAZING!! The action was great! The scene with Suki scaling the walls and taking out the Warden was AWESOME!! And we also got to see a little bit of the strength that Zuko got in his firebending from the Masters. He was canceling out all of Azula's lighting, which he has never done before, and it was awesome to finally see Azula getting scared. And then it was so sweet that Mai and Ty Lee went against Azula, its been in the making for about 17 episodes now, ever since the first episode we saw Ty Lee, and how she didn't want to join Azula in the first place.

Anyways, can't wait for the box set!!

Azula didn't shoot any lightning throughout the entire episode, and Azula didn't seem scared just betrayed and angry.

Did anyone else find the Zuko and Azula fight really lame?

I mean, he honestly had to have Sokka help double team his little sister? What a loser. I thought the dragonforce firebending was supposed to make him better.

does anyboidy wonder what they are going to do with mai and ty lee? bc its going to be hard keeping them lockd up i suppose. for us people who think ty lee is an airbender, well now i think mia and ty lee are both airbenders that have been decended from the airbender traitor? they both are high royalty and both can not firebend with high skills in fighting?. second did you see mai's uncles crown thing, it had an air going up instead of down like aangs and appas. another thing is azula had to use her blue fire as jets to get her off that gondola but ty lee just jumped like it was nothing and got to it????

    1. In absolutly no way, shape or form is Mai an airbender.

    2. If they take away all of Mai's pointy weapons she's pretty much powerless.

    3. Of course Ty Lee is an airbender. She's probably just going to fly out of the prison with Mai.

This is for those that saw the Boiling Rock, after that episode what are your opinions of Mai now? Where are the haters now?

I understand there is a group that belongs to a certain ship that has their reasons not to like her, I understand that, but they should also hate the main character, the Avatar himself, he too is guilty of that crime of getting in the way. Lets throw all that shipping crap out. This is just about the show. The only crime she ever did was in Return To Omashu.

What Mai was selfless and brave, she redemed herself in my eyes for what she did in Return To Omashu, just like Zuko redemed himself for what he did in CoD. My opinion has changed of her for the better.

At the beginning of the season, people called her a gold digger, and just dated the prince of the FN for social statous, well she stood by that same person who is not a prince, but a big trader to the FN.

On adivce from someone, I decied to try to move it here.

I would say that she truly did redeem herself. And got Ty Lee to join her. I actually felt sorry for her in the Beach and now, how can you not like her? She saved Zuko, Sokka, Hakoda all while sacrificing her own freedom. And then she announced she loved Zuko more than she feared Azula. Well, I can see how Zutarans would hate her. But I don't see how anyone else could.

Do you realize that Zutara is impossible now! For Zutara to happen, Zuko and Katara must be free. Mai has declared her love for Zuko supercides that of her fear of Azula. Zuko has also said that "that gloomy girl" is his girlfriend. Zuko is not free, so then Zutara=dead. Though it was dead since the first episode. *snort*
