    no even if aang had a child that was a water bender it wouldn't matter since no more avatars can be born. azula killed him remember? he died during the avatar state thus ending the cycle. as for benders they aren't genetic as far as we know so its possible that more airbenders can be born. not to mention that all the temples were relatively barren body wise. the only temple that had a skeleton was aangs and only gyatso sp? was there. i'm still thinking they escaped and went into seclusion. afterall there were only 4 main temples mentioned but there easily could of been more that people didn't know about

    I see your "Avatars cannot be born since aang died in avatar state" and raise you an "Aang used the avatar state in the finale, therefor the spirit of the avatar is still probably alive and will continue to be reborn"

    no one ever said you couldn't use the avatar state after dying. but if you die during the avatar state the cycle is broken. it would be an incredible arse pull to change it after all that buildup.

    no avatar has ever died while in the avatar state and been revivedbesides aang. the only reason aang could still use the avatar state was that he was still alive and connected to it. once he was able to unblock his chi or whatever he was able to go into it again.

    But Aang didn't die...? I'm pretty sure he just had a wound that was almost fatal but wasn't since Katara acted so fast with her spirit water...

    He didn't die in the Avatar State. In CoD he was shot by Azula while he was still trying to enter the Avatar State, therefore even if he died while opening it, the cycle was not broken, just damaged to Aang. Since he wasn't full-blown in the Avatar State, the cycle was still intact.

    And here i was thinking that u guys knew everything about avatar. Just type "Escape from the Spirit World Avatar" to any popular video site and watch the video than keep talking. All the events in the video are canon to the storyline... geez...
