    What if they make "the storm" the opening scenes to the movies..i could really see that happening..

    Like...they start off with Aang in the temple..then he runs away and gets trapt in the iceburg...then they cut to a bunch of landscape shots with the title of the movie..then they go into katara and sokka's story...

    I doubt that would would happen..but if i were ever making this movie..thats what i would do...

    Yeah, it would be weird to have two huge battles in one movie. There would be too much going on. Frank Marshall kind of implied that there wouldn't be just three movies. (And of course I can't find the link now..., was it his twitter?) But I think it would depend on the success of this film and probably the second, as well. So maybe they'll make Sozin's Comet its own movie? Or you know just show the original finale in lieu of a fourth film... I wouldn't mind the second one, that should've been in theaters in the first place.

    I think it should open up with the raid at the South Pole including the loss of Sokka and Katara's Mother.

    Everyone's spilting their last movie into two. Harry Potter, Twilight (maybe), Avatar (maybe). Ok, that's not a lot but still. I think four movies is fitting. It would probably help with the pacing. They can get more in. They have like twenty five hours to fit into three or four films. And yeah, money is probably one of the reasons but it doesn't seem like they're doing this just for profit. They're trying to respect the original show and spilting Book 3 in two might help them do that. Oh, and four movies = four nations even if the last two are just book 3. They'll probably play that up in advertisment anyway.

    Thats true. I'd rather the movies do the show as much justice as possible then everythinghaving to besqueezed into two hour movies and stuff being left out.

    It most definitely could be good, but I've been burned before by avatar. We all have. (the video games)

    major spoilers there. that's pretty much everything we've gotten from test screening reviews. looks like the movie will be very similar to the show. they are currently filming some minor scenes right now. stuff are subject to change, especially some scenes with Zhao, cause apparently, he didn't portray Zhao correctly.

    I forgot Azula was supposed to appear in the end. She looks, ok I guess. Its nice that Aang does show his free-spirited personality in the movie, though I wish Iroh would appear more cheerful too. It sucks that they took the Katara/Pakku fight out, I really liked that scene in the show.

    So, the firebenders have been nerfed.... FRIDGE BRILLIANCE! Airbenders and Firebenders have been the most powerful cuz no matter where they are they could use their bending, now firebenders need to be really awesome to do fire anywhere, and airbenders are monks so they probably could use their bending same as the show because their monks which makes them auto-awesome.

    She might not be the Azula in the second movie however. Some people who saw the screening said that she was in a shadow and you don't see her face. Things may change.

    New Airbender trailer comes out with Iron Man 2 in May. will feature kyoshi warriors, aang making a speech, zuko and zhao talking or fighting, and more. also, you guys have another opportunity to be in the last airbender. another casting call has come up. go to philly on march 13 or send in photos of yourself and go to philly if you get accepted.
