It's called a teaser trailer for a reason. Whatever was shown in the trailer isn't actual footage from the movie, it's just a basis of the plot. Don't flip out about how "this movie looks really, really, REALLY bad", you haven't even seen any real film from it. They're keeping the character's on the down low at the moment to keep anticipated viewers anxious to see more.
In my opinion from what I saw in the trailer, this movie looks very promising. The way they implemented Aang's airbending was well done, the music is definitely at scale with the shows, you can obviously see the actor playing Aang has learned martial arts well and won't disappoint in his action scenes, and that Fire Nation navy looks extraordinary. Can't wait to see the final scenes where they invade the Northern Water Tribe.

Also, it's easy to ridicule his recent work's stature. Mostly everyone will agree that it's very subpar and not up to his previous works standard. But, there's one very important, key fact that you have to remember with this movie: This isn't an original work done by M. Night. He has been working with the creators to make this live adaption as good as possible so there won't be a huge amount of disappointed fans. As a general director, I must say M. Night is surely great at getting emotion and beauty onto the screen, so I trust in his ability to adapt the show into a good presentation movie wise. This isn't going to be another Lady in the Water, Mike and Bryan wouldn't let him add in any 'twists' or personal additions to their story. |

Funny idea just came to me. In the 3rd movie, have the voice actors of the gang from the show make a cameo appearance by dressing as the characters they play while waiting in line for the Ember Play. Then have them mock the movie gang's 'cosplay' outfits as they walk by. Dee in an Appa costume with a Momo puppet would be classic. Not that the 3rd movie will have the play in it or anything. Just a small comedic moment for the fans. |

anyone think its funny that with fears of Middle eastern powers high several of the fire nation characters are being played by people with middle eastern decent i'm just saying... it wasn't a coincidence that the bad guy in rocky IV was from the CCCP (Soviet Union) |
Sorry everyone, I made a mistake when I was searching for pics of Ben Cooke. Apparently the previous photo is a different person with the same name. I should have checked to make sure it was really him. This is actually what he looks like:
This is better, he looks more like a member of he FN.
