    Waterbenders: Southeren Pole- Native American, Notheren Pole-Asian, Swamp- Redneck.

    Firebenders: Zuko, Zhao, Ozai, Tylee- caucasian, Iroh and Mei- Asian

    Earthbenders: Residents of Omashu- caucasian, Residents of Ba Sing Se- Asian

    Airbenders: Well, they look like Monks.

    I'm not saying the movie should do it just this way, but if mostly everyone was dark complected would it matter?

    Seems it would be more racist (racister? ) to cast Asian actors above another race. The job should go to the best actor who fits the role, maybe even complexion and whatnot if you want to get picky. But just flat out saying "No you can't play Aang, your not Asain" isn't right.

    It's going to be a little weird seeing live action characters, lol, I can already tell. At least it's coming out soon, since the writers strike is over.

    I agree with this. I don't really see why the whole cast would have to be Asian.

    As far as the pic goes, it's not a bad match, but Aang has big ears and this guy doesn't. It may sound picky, but other than Aangs tattoos, the ears are the only other feature about him that is really mentioned on the cartoon

    I made an attept makeover for the guy who is playing Aang...

    It really stinks...but it is the best I can do for now...

    WHAT !?!?!?! this is **** ! Its gonna be the worst movie ever made, sincerly, they should take americans in an asian world instead, its gonna be a real crap, worst than the power rangers. Why they are so stupid, they made a great cartoon, but they are going to blow the franchise with that ****.

    Even the japanese take americans models for their characters in videogames.
