I don't know if releasing the movie 2 days after Eclipse is such a good idea.... Everyone will be going crazing over seeing Eclipse and no one will care about seeing any other movie. That's my take on it at least.

Well when New Moon came out, the only other movie that competed against it that attracted people was The Blind Side, so you'll never know. By the way, I just found that the guy playing Master Pakku is Francis Guinan.

Yeah but they'll only make three movies, nobody did any deal for the fourth one (nobody, no director no writer, no one) it will surely not be made, after all, they'd have to include:

    -Bone-Breaking Sex

-Baby trying to kill the mother from the insides

-Guy raping baby and falling in love with said baby

Not even Mel Gibson would try to put that on a movie screen.

It's nice to see that Nick is still supporting Avatar by airing it's trailer on their channel, it's reminiscent of old times, eh?

The Yu Yan Archers? I didn't think they'd be in the film! And they're in the Southern Air Temple? Well, making the Avatar statues gold was a nice touch.
I kind of want to hear Aang speak or at least smile...

Im thinking those could just be statues at the Fire Nation base Aang is escaping from, but yea it could be at the Southern Air Temple since the story/plot might have to change a little bit.

So i dug through my dvd collection and found my three season box sets of avatar. I decided to watch the entire series from the first episode to the last episode in episode order. So far i am at the painted lady. My quest to rediscover the series brought me back. The great divide wasnt as bad as i first thought. Something i noticed with season one is that the season has a lacked of info on how the avatar cycle works. Only that it goes through the nations and avatar state which is called the avatar spirit in the southern air temple. Should be interesting to see what they do.

In regards to the message above me, I think we should make a list of episodes that we think have been cut from the movie.

I also think that they combined The Southen Air Temple and The Blue Spirit to save time.

Episodes I think were cut: The King of Omashu, Imprisoned, The Great Divide, The Fortuneteller, Bato of the Water Tribe, and The Deserter.

Here is my list of episodes that I think (some for sure) will be in the movie:

The Boy in the Iceberg, The Avatar Returns, The Southern Air Temple, The Warriors of Kyoshi, The Spirit World: Avatar Roku (Not sure about Winter Solstice), The Blue Spirit (From the look of the trailer, it maybe at the South Pole which could be how Aang gets captured in the begining of the movie), The Waterbending Master, and The Siege at the North (Parts 1 and 2)

I think the statues in the background of the archers are holding circle things with the element symbols on them. It's possible they are at the Southern Air Temple. Maybe they combined The Spirit World: Avatar Roku and the blue spirit in which Aang does get captured. The stuff in between those episodes aren't that important. Jet will probably be introduced in the second movie if at all and the waterbending scroll can be worked around.
