    Aw, thanks! I'm too lazy to click the link to that picture, but everyone has been saying she looks young. It's better to get an older actress who looks young so she doesn't age.

    finally were off the subject about nerds...

    i think Summer is too old to play Katara, i'm fine with the way she looks, but you have to consider the age. Casting directors are most likely looking for someone who is 14-17 yrs old to play Katara. as long as your in that age range, look like Katara and you look 14 (which is Katara's age) then that actress is a contender to play her. age is very critical because the all main characters will have to grow up. i don't think producers would want the katara actress to be of drink age by the end of the last movie.

    Actually, the characters WON'T be growing up. Remember, the whole story line takes place in less than a years time. The movies will take well over that amount of time to be made. The actors will rapidly age and it will be awkward; even more awkward than the HP movies.

    I actaully like being able to see the charectors grow up in HP it's different bc each HP movie is one year not 3 movies equals 1 year like The Last Airbender
