He was okay in the season what you have against this Iroh Ugamer?

Well, I think Sokka's humor is pretty forced sometimes, but he's a lot better than Tucker on Danny Phantom, whose humor is COMPLETELY forced.?? Pretty much every show has that guy who talks too much, and Avatar got it about 85% right when they created Sokka.

Avatar would be bad without its humour.

Once again you misunderstood *mutters* people need to think before they type... I think Avatar is more complex and darker than other shows, but just because it suppose to be fun doesn't mean you have to force humor.

Okay I'm going to agree with Pouj-Rui, Avatar is probably the most "dark" and complex show on Nickelodeon. I mean compared to Sponge Bob anf Fairly Odd Parents it's practically a soap opera (Okay nobody bite my head off for that soap opera thing, it's a joke). But the fact that the show is a little more dark and complex is the reason that the creators sometimes need to add some "unecessary" humor, for the youger kids to have a reason to watch the show. So yes, Avatar's a little dark and a little complex but it's also funny. Let's leave it at that.

Sarcasm is so fun though I hate it when I don't see it, now then Avatar won't be bad but without it I might cry to much without having a good laugh.

Oh my God I've always thought the exact same thing (even used Danny Phantom as my template).?? The comic relief characters are always shallow, annoying and underdeveloped. But??with Sokka, I don't know how but he??became one??of my favorite characters. His character's??was a bit weak at some points this??seaon??but??the Library showed that he's still alive and kicking. Any time??I start to doubt, I just??remember Siege of the North. ????*You know the creators originally designed him to be much more low-key but Jack DeSana just came in and brought life to his character. Huh.

Sokka is awesome, every time I've ever laughed while watching the show it was something Sokka said or did. Jack DeSena is great.

I seriously think at times the creators are going overboard with the humor in the show. Avatar is a dark show, not Spongebob! Examples of this unnessacary humor would be the "Made in Earth Kingdom" joke in Zuko Alone, the idiotic Earth generals we keep seeing, Sokka getting thrown out of the Poetry place, most of the Avatar Day episode, etc.

Um..."hu"-"mor" as in made to make you laugh and it dosen't feel unnessry at all.??

Season 1 finaly definitely showed a side of Sokka that was very unexpected. I was very excited and I hope they show that side again. He seems more like a real person when he's not constantly being sarcastic. And I thought it was cool when he freaked out at Uway's (sorry don't know how to spell it) fiance when he said she came with quirks. Very cool.

Sokka and Jack, there both great!! Now that I think about it Sokka's humor is a little bit fourced.?? Also I know what you mean about Danny Phantom, the show itself was shallow thats why I stopped watching it.?? Wow, I should be disgusing this on a Danny Phantom forum. Or cource then the fans will beat me with a club.

Avatar isn't dark or soap oprahish. Its pretty light hearted stuff actually. Also doebnt underestimate nick its not al spongebob. At time inside the show Hey Arnold was more sad then anything in avatar. Ever watched as told by Ginger I dought many kids would "get" that show. A female friend of mine cried during the rugrats movie and even though I teased her the seens with chuckies mom were really sad.
