One, she was female, and two, she was the obvious protagonist. She opposed what we assumed was the obvious antagonist: Justin.

It's why many knew Gwen and/or LeShawna were going to make it far in season one. They were the major oppositions to the main antagonist.

if you think beth is off next your in for a big surprise. she has more than what it takes to win. unlike duncan/courtney/owen she is the only good guy left. the duncan vs courtney finale your dreaming of aint happening.

Duncan v. Courtney could happen...I just have tp..umm..persuade the producers (pulls out rope)

Nah, it's gonna be Duncan v. Beth. I don't know why everyone's typecasting Duncan as the bad guy now, he's actually been okay towards everyone (except for Harold..) plus, nice guys finish last....I hope.....

Everyone seems to be ignoring one thing, their just assuming a good guy is going to win, they don't know, the only one who can't win is Owen because he just came back and is working for Chris hes probably not even eligible to win the game and since everyone is expecting Beth to win a good way to make it dramatic is to make her lose

Please, explain what is dramatic in letting Courtney win. She is a physical and mental powerhouse in the game right now. The dramatic thing would be to have her lose.

    Similar with Duncan.

That's not exactlty a poor assumption. That's generally how television works: good guys beat bad guys. Tell me, how "dramatic" would it have been if Heather had won TDI?

While I would like for Duncan to win, now that Harold is out, it's all pretty much pointing toward Beth.

Like I said, though, I'm kind of hoping that it's apart of a plan to surprise us with Duncan winning. I won't be surprised if it's not, though.

So do we have any proof yet that it isn't an aftermath? Because I'd be surprised if there wasn't another one at least eventually.

Many people (me included) didn't really like the Aftermath's, so maybe they just decided to take them out, and get straight to the finale...

tvguide.com and cartoonnetwork.com have next weeks episode as Top Dog as well.

And that's kind of unfair to get rid of Aftermath episodes simply because some fans don't like them. Some fans DO like the episodes, that and considering it's the top 6 contestants left for Aftermath's and they're probably the one's with the most drama then they SHOULD have aftermath's for them. The only thing I can think of is they'll have an epic aftermath with all 6 (or 7, Owen is creating alot of drama) contestants. if not, then they're stinky poopooheads!

My guess is that the between-season special will be an hour long aftermath episode featuring the six remaining contestants. If not, then I'll be pissed.

It was sad to see Harold go, with him and Lindsay gone the show just wont be all that funny anymore. Owen and his farts got stale a good while back. Its kinda lame that the final two boys are the same this time round again.
It does seem that Beth winning is all but confirmed now. And I cant see the poor girl achieveing it without getting a ton hate in the process. Maybe if it hadnt been spoiled on us people may of acceptet it better but then her beating fan favorite Duncan was always gonna have some backlash and writers probally could of done a better job at developing her this season (the whole Brady thing was just never that funny to begin with) either way ill always have a soft spot for Beth.
I liked the little insight we got in Courtney character, the whole debate picture telling us how she probally been chaseing away friends her whole life with bossy, competive nature.

its not because of harold, its because we all know how its most likely guna end now and we wana get to the epicness that is TDM. people have been wanting to get it over with for awhile now and now that we are about 90% sure that beth is going to win (gota still count the 10% chance the writers will do something different and let an antagonist win...maybe they will have to use the money to pay off duncan's past deeds or something counting it as a non victory...isnt duncan showed in the TDM trailer too? he could win and have lost the money and appear on TDM like Owen did with TDA) we just want to get to TDM even more now.

You mean a bet that if you lose you'll just back out of?
