The smart thing they're doing is that they're already starting to make Courtney suffer... she's being ignored by the person she's been abusing this season (Duncan), and her lack of foresight caused her to (almost, if she didn't back out, which really was no surprise) go into the VomitComet last. Sure, she got her revenge on Harold from last season, but she now has absolutely zero allies in the game that she completely ditched Beth.

Really, she's causing her own downfall, which I don't think anyone expected.

Although Duncan could truly be redeeming himself. He's been on the victim end of pranking now, and when he gets pantsed (possibly also an allusion to TDDDI with Noah?), he says he had that coming. Maybe he does have some on/off, more permanent respect for Harold? This is the only time he's ever voted for him, and that was because of Scruffy.

I'm waiting for Hayden to admit he's wrong.

Sucks that Harold got voted off, but at least he really stood up for himself before he left. And we know now that Duncan and Beth are the Final Two.

We probably won't be hearing from Hayden for a little while.

OMG! Why did Harold go home?! I would have loved to see him win! Oh well, at least he left with a bang (Nice job Harold for standing up for yourself, and I loved the Back to the Future reference, that was freakin sweet). I just pray Courtney doesn't win.

bummer, Harold went home. He was my favorite one left. That, and it totally ruins my theory of them doing an Aftermath with Justin, Lindsay, and Beth and another with Courtney, Harold, Duncan. BOOOOO!!!

They better squeeze in an Aftermath somewhere for Lindsay. Seriously, don't give me this bringing back Owen crap and having another reward challenge so that there is no time for an Aftermath.

Anyway, I hope Duncan wins then. but it'll probably be Beth.

You know what would be funny. If Courtney won and then got SUED and lost it all. Yeah, get sued by Chris for whatever reason. He gives her the money and then takes it back. haha, that's how the season SHOULD end.

Everyone has so many double standards, when Harold bes a total douche to Duncan for no reason everyone cheers but when Duncan has a reason to pick on harold everyone hates him, it's really quite pathetic of you all, and how is pants Duncan standing up to him? I mean Duncan didn't even care much

As for Courtney Duncan is still her ally on some level those two always argue but neither has tried to get rid of the other yet so that tells me their still doing the unspoken alliance thing

I don't think anyone has put this together yet, but if and Aftermath is next...

HAROLD NEEDS TO BE ON THE AFTERMATH.

Look at what they just set him up for! LeShawna likes him, and Harold is convinced that Heather likes him. Then Beth kisses him. On the lips. Does no one see the huge drama potential here???

As of this episode, Duncan is officially back on my favorites list. While, yes, he somewhat deserved the rocky mattress and pantsing, it's obvious that Duncan has jumped off of the Gary-Stu path he's been traveling on, and that he actually has a heart under that tough, bully exterior.

The DC relationship also received a slight amount of strain in this episode. Perhaps it's an indicator that there's more drama to come?

Great episode overall. They were able to work the plotlines thoroughly with all five characters.

    D: Why?!

It was actually his own fault since he caught on to Owen so Owen had to vote him off.

More like he TOLD Owen that he'd caught onto him. So yeah, that wasn't smart.

And I don't think Beth COULD go far. It's the F4. She's already gotten INCREDIBLY far! I was pleasantly surprised to see her win her first challenge. She definitely earned it. Did she win invincibility, though? Chris didn't say anything about it, so I assume not. If not, I guess invincibility ended at F6.

I can finally put my past animosity toward Harold aside now that my beloved Courtney's gotten her retribution for last season. She's outlasted him this season, and that's all I wanted her to do. (And she didn't have to cheat him out of the game to do so!) So come TDM, clean slate for Harold. Totally clean slate.

Fantastic episode. Assuming we're having an elimination run from here on to the F2, I can't wait for the next few weeks! I think we're in for an interesting finish.

I really hope the writers will take advantage of that potential. I loved the way Harold managed to woo Beth without even trying. Or without even wanting to try.

Beth: Goodbye, Harold! I'll wait for you!

    Harold: Haven't I suffered enough?

    LOL

Awesome elimination. Take that Hayden! Here's who I think everyone voted for: Duncan: Harold (for killing Duncan's tarantula) Harold: Owen (for Owen opening the hole in the spaceship) Beth: Courtney (for Courtney's treatment to Beth) Courtney: Harold (No reason...) Owen: Harold (For accusing him of being a traitor)

Duncan: Clearly. Even if the death of Scruffy was an accident, it was as good a reason as any.

Harold: Or rather, for Owen being a traitor. We know Owen was put back in the show to cause trouble, as Harold just figured out.

Beth: Yes, she made that clear.

Courtney: It might as well have been Beth, which she had a more immediate reason to be angry with.

Owen: Yes, for the exact same reason that Harold voted for him

No reason except the fact that Duncan had been pranking him for weeks. Really, it's not even a challenge anymore.

As for Owenm I wonder if he decide to confess like DJ felling the guilt and the severe look of other contestants who didn't believed then Owen will go in an alliance with Chris? Or he's voted off "accidentely" and/ro realized Chris betrayed him (by giving him some Chris McLean dollars instead of real dollars) just like Heather betrayed Lindsay in TDI, and Owen got angry and swear a lot of bad words to Chris covered by a long bleeping sequence.

Slim chances to happens but who knows?

I'm very disappointed that Harold is gone. It was an accident with Scruffy's death plus the odds that it crawled on Harold and not anyone else (I wonder how Duncan would of voted if it was Courtney that did the accidental crush) plus he is the only one to discover Owen's misdeeds. I was talking about the episode with my brother this morning and he believes that is was possible of either Owen or Courtney to PUT Scruffy in the vomit comet or on Harald to anger Duncan and get rid of Harold (plus if it was Courtney she could of also done it out of jealousy and to put Duncan's head in the game) If this is true (and we will find out in the upcoming episodes) than this could either break up the couple of Duncan and Courtney or have Owen gone and hated (setting up for Owen to not have a massive like advantage in Total Drama the Musical).
Harold was smart to discover Owen being a traitor but was dumb in not telling all of the others before(or never)confronting Owen.
It also appears that my hopes of Duncan and Harold being friends is gone as well (it looked that way from the TDA promo picture but that didn't happen) I do like that Harold became a stronger charter and now is standing up to Duncan.
He was my favorite character on the show and I was voting for him! I'm voting for Beth now.

Harolds just a million shades of awesome. sad he left but on the bright side he will have a decent run in TDM. cant wait for beth to win and courtney to have a tantrum and be defeated. although stupid owen should of went to give harold one more episode. shiskabob the bets off since you knew in advance harold would leave.

I hope Duncan wins, because if Beth does it wouldn't be a good ending. (I like Beth, but her going up against a character like Duncan would be like the good guys winning at the end of a movie. Protagonist vs protagonist or even antagonist vs antagonist would have worked better.)

wait, did shiskabob know BEFORE you made the bet, or just before the episode? it's only fair to call off the bet if he(she?) knew before the bet not the episode. (and even then, I'm not sure if it's fair or not)

My thoughts on the episode: Not as much drama as I would have expected. Harold's elimination makes an easy win for Beth.

    Overall grade: B+
