There seems to be the impression here that Harold's vote rigging isn't widely known. That's not the case. Courtney found out when she arrived at Playa des Losers, which means that everyone there before her obviously knew, and it makes no sense that the final five wouldn't have found out in short order when they got together with the rest of the campers. |
Well at one point, Duncan thought Heather was responsible for Courtney getting kicked off. Giving her track record, that was not a bad asumption.

Yeah, I agree, I say Leshawna, and everyone, knows that Harold cheated Courtney off.
I think Leshawna's going to be on Harold's side. She seems more likely to just argue and fight with Courtney then go to her side to me.

Did anyone else notice that Justin seemed to be attracted to Owen for a second there, I swear to god Justin is gay anyways everyone thinks Heather is going to take Harolds side, but I don't think that's the case, she needs an alliance with a strong member, an alliance with Harold would ruin her, she's going to take Duncan's side, he is the only one that doesn't really care what she did to Trent/Gwen and Beth/Lindsey, she pretty much left him and Courtney alone, this is how I think it's going to play out Duncan: Heather, Gwen Harold: Leshawna and I think DJ with side with Harold first but then Chef will make him switch sides |

I don't think so. You forget Heather and Courtney have some history. Heather has antagonist Courtney in the past. Heather and Courtney will never be on the same side.
I gotta say that I was expecting Trent to get voted off and a good thing too! He was starting to annoy me and quite frankly I hope either Gwen or Owen go next. Just to be fair to the others.
Even though I see Heather getting the boot next, seeing she has no alliance or has yet to show any diabolical plans. And I see Justin going far...maybe even winning the whole thing!
And lastly, I was REALLY dissapointed in Geoff and Bridgette's performance this season. Seeing my two favourites characters going down like that, and not being the characters I adored in season One was a major blow for me. Oh well, I shall root for DJ!
EDIT: I think Harold went for Courtney because Duncan bullied him all the time, and wanted to see Duncan suffer the lost of his "love life" on the island, where he can see the guy going down while he laughs at him.

I don't know. Harold went for Courtney, not Duncan. Innocent victim. She didn't do anything to Harold, except for maybe be impatient with him. If it wasn't for the LaShawna thing I would have guessed Harold had liked Courtney and was punishing her for liking Duncan, but I guess he just went for the one he thought was less likely to kill him later (obviously, that didn't work out like he'd planned). |
I agree with you. I have always felt that way. Which is why this Harold / Duncan rivalory right now, both sides make valid points who is in the right. Duncan started it with his bullying, but that does not make what happened to Courtney is right? She is perfectly justified to be pissed off. I think had Harold cheated to get Duncan kicked off, Duncan might actully be more forgiven. "You got a problem with me fine, but don't mess with my woman."

The way I see it, there were 2 good reasons to vote off Courtney instead of Duncan:
1) He gets to watch the guy who bullied him mope around about his severed relationship
2) No one would suspect him of rigging the vote against Courtney, since he has no quarrel with her.
