Why does Spongebob bother Squidward so much?!

    In the newer episodes, Spongebob gets on Squidward's nerves all the time! Why does he bother him so much?! Can't he find something better to do? Why can't he go bother Patrick or something?! The poor guy has to leave his own house just to get some peace and quiet! I think that is just messed up.

    Exacto Practo, it's like Tim bothering Al (although when he does that, it's funny). It was funny for a couple episodes in the first season, but now the writers have gone too far.

    Yeah I know! Doesn't the sponge have an off switch?! Squidward should just punch Spongebob dead in the face and shout, "HA! THAT'S WHAT YA GET FOR BOTHERIN' ME ALL THESE YEARS YA SUCKER! HA HA HA!!!" Oh, that would be high-larious!

    That exactly why I called "Coconut Fred: Fruit Salad Island" an evil version of SpongeBob! I feel bad for Squidward, but that why it's funny!

    It's because, in the earlier episodes, Spongebob's feud with Squidward was hilarious. Now it's overplayed and used too often. It's become too much of a good thing.

    Spongebob should seriously go to a professional for his problems. People like that usually kill the person they're stalking. Trust me, I've seen it on many cop shows.

    Don't you think if this wasn't a kids show that the writers would have made SQuidward take out a gun and shoot spongebob? Either that or curse him out.

    The storyline is getting old. It was hillarious in episodes like Opposite Day, Jellyfishing, etc. but now it's damn annoying.

    I thought that the funniest old one was The Paper. Cause Spongebob was like to SQuidward, "Are you absolutley sure that you don't want it?" He asked him that like 100 times!

    The only funny thing in that episode when SpongeBob bothered Squidward was when he disguised as the table. The rest of the episode: HATE IT!

    Um...I only watch this occasionally, but I'm going to start watching it more! And to be quite honest, I'll be the weirdo and say that I don't get sick of SpongeBob bothering Squidward. I mean, I pity them BOTH, so I can see both sides of the scenario.

    yeah i agree with all of you, spongebob was really annoying in the episode opisite day which made it funny but now nickelodeon have no hope and season 6 is the season that shows that nickelodeon have really badly ran out of ideas. and the worst thing is there running out of ideas for episodes and spongebob is one of the most popular shows at the moment. what are they going to do now?

    Well, SpongeBob was once "normal" in one episode in which Squidward got sick and tired of SpongeBob annoying him all the time.
